FC: Miia's 1st Year
1: You came into this world on your own time. I was induced first thing Monday morning and you were not born until that evening. But when it was time, you were out in two pushes. We had a few visitors while in the hospital and Mimi arrived into town the day after you were born. When it was time to be discharged from the hospital, we weren't ready to leave because we couldn't decide on your name. We had it down to two choices - Miia and Aili. Our nurse took a survey from about 20 other nurses and staff and Miia was by far the favorite. It worked out because your name definitely suits you.

7: We had a bunch of family in town for Halloween, because that was the weekend of my baby blessing. I was a ladybug. We went trick-or-treating downtown Coeur d'Alene, even though I was probably too young to remember. My mom just carried me around in her sling.
