1: Anne was born in Frankfurt Germany in 1929 | Born Annelies Marie Frank

2: When Annelies was born the Nazi's improved greatly in size | 100,000 to 178,000 people grew into the Nazi party in 1929

3: This awful law stated Jewish people couldn't marry any German people, or have sexual relations with Germans

4: This was the night of broken glass. | This occurred November 9th, and 10th in 1938. | It was a mass pogrom that destroyed anything it could find that was Jewish.

5: six death camps that are now well known for being the most brutal, and harmful. Auschwitz, Sobibor, Belzec, Chelmno, Treblinka, and Majdanek. | Who would subject people to this madness?

6: Anne's autograph book that she used as a diary. birthday gift June 12th, 1942 13th birthday

7: We went into hiding July 6th, 1942. The Van pels, and Mr. Pfeffer joined us soon after.

8: people that did right by risking lives to protect all of us hiding in the annex. a page in diary was dedicated just to them.

9: picture that resembles all of us being arrested. We were arrested August 4th, 1944

10: Anne and Margot were sent to Bergen-Belsen in 1944 they were separated from all family. | I was extremely worried for them.

11: Annelies died March, 1945 of typhus at age 15

12: Americans and Soviets liberated all of the concentration camps, and it forced Germany to surrender. | I was extremely grateful for these brave people.

13: Germany surrendered May 7th, 1945 | They will never know the pain they caused me.

14: Annelies's diary published in U.S in 1952, 70 different translations, and over 40 million copies sold.

15: Never forget the trials and tribulations that every single Jewish person pushed through during this dark time. And never forget that it wasn't only the Jewish people, anyone who was considered an undesireable was murdered. As time goes on people will never understand the full complexity of the Holocaust because we can't say we were there. Never forget the feeling you have about this because in the future something similar to this might occur in the future, and now know we need to stand up and speak our mind to the matter, to say that unheard voices need to be heard, and understood. Don't be afraid to speak out against danger or wrongdoing.
