3: Most viking lived on farms and in villages by the seashore and in the countryside.The long houses had one long room for living and sleeping in.The long house were make of whatever they can find nearby. The walls was make of stone or wood. | Viking Long house

4: Life and Death | The viking were pagan. So when wealthy viking died, they were buried in a ship so they could sail to the next world. They were buried with things they might need in the afterlife. But the ordinary viking were buried in the ground with jewelry.

5: Viking Wife | The viking wife were independent. While the men were away on expeditions, women ran the households and farm. A women can choose there husband. But the viking wife have to do all the cleaning.

6: Viking Children | The viking children had no school . Instead they worked in the fields,spinning,and weaving.Not all kids stayed home. Many joined their fathers in colonies such as england. They hid somewhere safe during battles, and came out later to help set up new villages.

7: Viking Meals | All day long, the fire in the hearth was kept burning for cooking and heating.Rich households had baking ovens in separate rooms. The rich and the poor ate different meals, served in different ways.They ate suff like poached eggs, garlic bulb, hare, raspberry, and blackberry

8: Viking Warriors | The true spirit of the viking age was daring courage.To the viking warrior, honor and glory in battle were the only things that lasted forever.A warrior had to be ready to follow his lord or king into battle or on a raid or expedition.

9: Viking Warship | The viking warship was the longest, and quickest of viking vessels, and carried warriors far across the ocean. Depending on its size, a warship would have 24 to 50 warriors.

10: Weapons | His spear, his AXE , his shield, and especially his sword these a warrior's most prized possessions. Weapons were made of iron, and often decorated with inlaid or encrusted silver and copper.Helmets are rarely found, because most of them were made of leather and have rotted away.
