Once upon a time two girls named Ashley and Ashley. They lived in the 13th century. These two girls were born same day, same time, and in the same place, but they were not twins. One of them was born into a peasant family and the other girl was born in to a rich family. While these girls were being blessed and washed they were switched! The rich family took the peasant and the poor family took the rich girl. No one knew the difference.
Although this little peasant girl was actually supposed to be the princess. She lives in her little home, with her poor family. Their entertainment was that the family would hunt, play games, and sports. They ate dark bread, nuts, pig, cheese, and milk. Ashley would drink uncleaned water, cider, and ale.
Living her life in luxury, Ashley was the princess that was suppose to be the peasant. Once a year the king and queen invite a few of the peasant families to come and feast with them. The royal family would have big feasts, banquets, jousting tournaments, mystery plays, fairs, games/sports, and animal entertainment. The food they would eat was spectacular. They would eat all the meat that they could get their rich hands on like, capons, geese, larks, and chickens. The best made bread of all Europe is also what the rich families would eat. Ashley would drink many different types of wines.

As everyone was enjoying their feast after a while of eating the king's duke noticed something about the girls. Now the duke had been by the kings side through everything, even when the daughter was born. After his exchange of dirty looks he shouted. " This so-called princess is an impostor!"
As everyone stopped eating and stared the king threw his fork down and said " How dare you talk to my daughter that way." After the duke apologized, The queen noticed something too. When the real queens daughter was born she had blond hair and blue eyes! This so called princess had brown hair and brown eyes. After the queen and the duke had looked around the table they noticed the peasant girl. She had blond hair and blue eyes.
The king asked her parents; What day was your daughter born? They answered: September 10th, Then the king said: Thats very surprising so was my little girl. The king got suspicious and noticed that his little princess did not look like him or his queen at all! After hours and hours of agreeing and disagreeing, the king and queen finally came to a decision. These two girls had been switched at birth. So they must switch back, the king said with a tear. The peasant family had a hard time giving up their daughter too, but to the so called peasants, Ashley was royal. So they switched back and said their goodbyes.
After the girls were switched back, for entertainment what they did was they had animal entertainment. When they were finished they had jousting tournaments and mystery plays. While everything was going on there were acrobats, jugglers, and fools.
A few months later the princess went on a walk in the woods and found the other Ashley. They walked for hours, just talking and understanding what it was like to be each other. A a short period of time Ashley and Ashley were best friends. The king had a agreed with his daughter to invite Ashley's peasant family to dinner. The peasant were very low on food, they were barely making it. So, the king and queen had them move into the castle with them. They all do their far share of work, and they work as a team.
