T h e G l e c k l e r s | 2010 was a busy Year for the Glecklers. Right after the new year began we learned that we would be adding another little one to the mix...this time a little GIRL!!! We spent every chance we could enjoying the outdoors while we only had one little kid to tote. While there was snow we went cross-country skiing. When it got a little warmer we traded in our skis for an ATV. We had a lot of fun the three of us and Libby (our dog) piled onto one fourwheeler exploring the hills. We were very proud when Jake decided to break away from the backpack and start hiking a little bit. At 18 months he hiked over a mile straight--we had to force the little guy back into the pack!!! Siince Erich had two siblings stationed on the East Coast for a military tour, we also went out to NY, DE and Washington DC for a family trip. Although spending all day in museums and historical sites is not ideal with an 18 month old and a pregnant lady we managed to have a great and memorable time. When summer came things started getting a bit chaotic. Erich had one of his busiest fire seasons yet. Kara was busy holding down the fort and practicing law at her new firm. In the evenings we spent our family time hanging out in the backyard mostly swimming and playing baseball. Jake was quite the little slugger and Libby was kind enough to retrieve the ball! After a long summer fall finally came and McKinley Jo with it. At 10:00 on October 12, 2010 our adorable little girl was born. We weren't out of the hospital a full hour before we had her loaded up for a road trip to the canyon. G-ma and G-pa got to spend several weeks with us which we thoroughly enjoyed spending outside fourwheeling and dutchovening. Winter was a whole new experience with two little ones. The first time we loaded both kids in backpacks and went skiing it took an hour of prep for a half hour of skiing. It was well worth it though cause we skiied back far enough to get a great little Christmas Tree! Lots of fun times in 2010. Life with two little ones is very demanding and busy but oh so rewarding.
 Happiness is... ...being with family
The Stidsens had an eventful 2010, the main event being the birth of Anniston in November. We enjoyed having grandma & grandpa come out to visit in April & then again when Anniston was born. Addie played her first season of soccer, unfortunately broke her arm during the summer and started Kindergarten in the fall. Alex had fun attending preschool this year and Ansley grew up a lot too. We loved hanging out at the pool in the summer (until Addie broke her arm) and going to the Harker Reunion and spending time with all the family in Idaho during our summer vacation. | Stidsen Happenings
2010 was definitely an exciting year for our family. In April, Mark & Camille went to Oahu to celebrate Camille's 40th birthday while Grandma came & stayed with the kids. We had a wonderful time - going to the Polynesian Cultural Center, snorkeling, and relaxing by the beach & pools. Camille had some labor pains there but fortunately, Kaylena Christine decided to wait for another month (until May 11th) to be born. The older three have been so good with her and she has brought an incredible amount of joy to our family!
We took our annual trip to Utah/Idaho to visit with family during the summer., It's always so fun to see grandparents, cousins, etc. In the fall, we decided to pursue an opportunity to buy the home of some friends of ours who were retiring & moving out of the area. We loved our home at 453 Molino but with our new addition, we were running out of space. It was a ton on work & stress but we finally moved into our new home right before Christmas. We are excited about having more space & also a swimming pool!. Aside from a new baby & moving, we were also busy throughout the year with soccer, baseball, basketball, dance, piano, church callings, work, teaching preschool, etc. | Covington Highlights
It was an eventful year for our family.. Robert came back from Argentina and is now engaged to Caitlin. Amy was baptized. We took two kids to college in the Fall. Sarah had her first dates and Emma started Kindergarten. . We feel very blessed to enjoy time with family.
Family FUN in the SUN... | We kicked off the 2010 Reid family reunion by meeting up at the Harker Reunion near Aberdeen Idaho. It was lots of fun to see cousins and aunts we haven't seen for years. Grandma Ruth and her siblings entertained us by taking turns swinging at and repetatively missing a pinata! Then Sunday morning we had the special privilege of hearing stories about Grandma Harker and mom's life growing up. From the Harker Reunion we headed over to Kara's new house in Twin Falls. After three fun filled days of golfing, boating, and playing in the park, we packed up yet again and headed to a cabin on Palisades lake. The weather was crazy stormy and we had more
people than can possibly fit in one boat, but we squeezed in as much time as we could tubing, skiing, and wakeboarding. Curtis and Emily both learned to ski, and Jake took his first motorized tube ride! In between rounds of boating we had fun playing on the beach, walking in the mountains around the cabin, and of course playing cards. One night the siblings took a special boat ride together without kids to remember the days of the past. Robert was even able to make it and to show the family pictures of his mission. The only problem is the week went WAY TOO FAST!!! | Summer 2010 Vacation
We rented a cabin at Palisades Lake for a few days. There was room enough for everyone and it was nice to have a cozy place to play cards & Wii at night, especially when it started raining!
We got rained out one afternoon so we loaded up the boat and headed into Alpine for hamburgers & huckleberry milkshakes. Yummmm!!
We enjoyed having mom and dad tour around the country this year visiting each of us & our families (except Chuck who hasn't gotten to see them quite as much)!. It was a busy year for them with three new grandchildren being born: Kaylena in May, McKinley in October, & Anniston in November. Robert got home from his mission in June and Amy was baptized in July.. They also spent part of the winter in St. George this year for the first time. | Tour de Grandchildren
 Halloween Fun
Happy Holidays | Everyone spent Christmas in their own homes except kara's family who were in Utah with the Glecklers. McKinley was blessed right after Christmas. Mom & Dad went to St. George in December and were able to go to the blessing.
