4: I started my life on August 26, 1957. I was born at Pomona Valley Hospital. I am the only one of my cousins, on my mom's side, to have been born in a Hospital.
5: This is my first home on Huntington Dr in Pomona. | We moved when I was 6 so my memories are not very clear, but I do remember the house. I remember my mom teaching me the twist and riding in my dad's police car. I remember going trick or treating with Danny when it wasn't Halloween. I remember playing at Jeannie's and Steve's and Cindy Loza's and of coarse Danny's. I remember trying to brush my hair with Dorothy's Bottle Brush tree. I remember being happy s
6: My best friend was Danny Yocum. He lived across the street and his sisters were 'Big' Sally, 'Big' Cindy and Cathy. Cindy Loza was another friend. Her brothers were Tony and Peter. I remember being afraid of Tony. Michael and Jeannie lived next to Danny and were very nice. I remember having my first flour tortilla at their house and loving it. Tyrone lived next door. 7: This was my first day of Kindergarten. I can remember being excited. I went to afternoon class and Danny went mornings. I was disappointed to not be going with him. I used to walk to school with Steve | I loved going to Sunday School. I think seeds were planted in my heart in those classes. I do remember, however, that I would get stung by a bee often when I would come home.
8: By far my favorite teacher was Miss King. She gave me a love for reading. I would love to hear her read to us about Hans Christian Anderson, her favorite author | Miss Harper was my Kindergarten teacher. I remember having a crush on Joey and being kissed by Scott. | Miss Simmons was my 1st grade teacher. I liked her and was sad when we moved. 9: Mrs. Mc Kinnon was my 4th grade teacher. I don't remember much about her. I remember being friends with Kenny Starns. We would walk home together | I loved Mrs Davis. I was definitely teacher's pet. She left half way through the year to have a baby, and Mr Sherman replaced her. I didn't like him. I remember that this was the only year I ever had to stay after school. I was seated next to Belinda Clark and we couldn't help laughing and talking. | My 6th grade teacher was Mrs Holcomb. I remember that she didn't have control of the class. She even ran out crying once and the other 6th grade teacher came and told us off. | Belinda | Kenny

11: Pavilion Dr. | I felt so grown up in this outfit. I saved up for these boots and I loved them. I was 11, but felt 16. | Yes, this is the same bike from Huntington. To say it is too small is an understatement. I was afraid of my bigger bike. | Of the 10 puppies Duchess had, 8 survived. I spent so much time with these puppies, who were born on my bed. I used to sit in the closet with them and make sure the little ones were fed. I cried when each one was sold. Thumbelina was my favorite.
12: Sooty and I snuggling in my bed. He was only tolerating it. | I took Baron to Dog Obedience School. It was challenging. He was a little young and had trouble concentrating. At class if he saw Mom or Dad, he would bolt, so they had to hide and watch him. He did graduate though.

17: I always loved to dress up. Whether it was Halloween, Parades, a game or on a date to Universal Studios.. Putting on a costume has always been fun to me. | We were in 2 parades for the DBE. 28: I met Gary Merrill while cruising 'E' Street with Debi. Off and on for 5 years or so. This is him talking on the phone to me. | I met Steve Alegre while working at the Mission Drive In. He asked me out for a while before I gave in. He was shorter than me and that was hard to get over at first. We dated for about 2 years, and while just puppy love, the breakup was very hard. | On a vacation to San Felipe, I met John Adams. We were both very shy, so our romance really never got going. We were together on a couple of trips, but then it was over.

38: I accepted the Lord on August 26, 1979 at Raincross Square in Riverside. Greg Laurie of Calvary Chapel had an alter call and I knew I needed Jesus as my Savior. I had been searching for him my entire life. | Baptism at Lake Perris | On an Evangelism trip to New York. We also went to Boston, Philadelphia and Washington DC. 40: Marty proposed when he came to pick me up for a trip to Las Vegas. We had been apart for 6 weeks and the time apart made us realize that we couldn't live without each other. The Casino kept playing 'Going to the Chapel' and we took it as a sign. | July 1987
41: We were married in Reno on my 30th birthday. I also accepted Jesus on this same date in 1979. | August 26 1987 | We drove over to Lake Tahoe for a "Three Hour Tour" of the Lake. It was a nightmare and the Marriage was almost over before it began.

43: Marty | Taken at the L.A. County Fair. We had been going every year since we met. | Ok, we caved and bought a timeshare in Oak Glen. We quickly came to our senses and canceled the contract the next day.
44: Seattle | Canada | We drove up to Seattle to see my mom and dad, who were on a MMAP project. We went with them over to Canada and stayed at a Bed and Breakfast. We loved eating wild Berries and were so excited when we saw them just growing by the road. | On our way to see 'When Harry met Sally'. It was to become our movie.
