My birthday this year was amazing! I still had to work, but afterward, Ethan and I drove up to Mom and Dad's so we could all spend the evening together. We ate dinner, played games, and had cake! Mom made the cake. It was mostly sugar-free ├ęclair cake. Yum! | When Ethan dropped me off that night, I found this on my kitchen table. Ethan had left me a card, some beautiful flowers, and some winter boots, which I had mentioned I needed. It was so thoughtful! It was the perfect end to a fabulous day. | My 22nd Birthday | December 21, 2010

Every year Jayna Durfee and I go to Chuck E. Cheese for our birthdays. They are 5 days apart, so we'll go sometime during that week. It's always so fun to goof off with her! | This year, Jayna had a birthday party the same night after our Chuck E. Cheese trip. I was obviously the oldest one their. But it was really fun. Rachelle was there too. I liked being able to hang out with the "kids". | Chuck E. Cheese | December 23, 2010

The Foothills ward Christmas Party was really fun. Rachelle spent the weekend with me. Clayton, Ethan, Rachelle, Dan and I hung out at the party, and at ice skating afterward. Dan Slocum played "Santa" and handed out gift bags. This is one of my favorite pictures! | The Sunday before Christmas, I was invited to go Caroling with Ethan and his family, along with the Tenneys and the Nebekers. We went to a retirement home. Then we went back to the Tenney's for a potato bar, a Christmas story, and socializing. I had my flute with me, so I got to play with Lori Konshuk. It was a really great evening. | Christmas Parties | December 19, 2010 | December 11, 2010 | s | Ethan helped me buy my Christmas tree! It was nice to have him there to help carry it. We also picked out decorations together.

For Christmas Eve, we had the Urichs and Grandma and Grandpa come over. We had karaoke, sang songs as we went through the Christmas story, and of course ate lots of snacks! | Christmas Day was just our family with Grandma and Grandpa. While we were waiting for Jonathan to call, Brandon and I read scriptures together. It was so fun to hear from Jonathan. Some people dream of opening presents all night. But I dreamed about Jonathan all night. I was really, really excited. | Christmas Eve/Day | December 25, 2010 | December 24, 2010

Rachelle, Brandon, Dad, and I went to Adventure Dynamics, which has a bunch of high ropes courses. First there was a vertical obstacle course. Rachelle and Brandon got to the top. Dad and I didn't. Brandon and Rachelle both jumped off a really high plank. There was also a swing. They attached you to a rope, pulled you up really high, then let you swing down. Then we all did the zipline. It was fun, but there's room for improvement for next time! | June 19, 2011 | Adventure Dynamics

Dad, I am so grateful that you are my dad. I feel like I don't have new things to say that I haven't said before in previous letters, but I just really enjoy being your daughter. I love talking to you about technology, programming, books, even diet. When I'm with you, I have so much I want to say and talk about that it's hard to pick just one topic. And I have to keep myself from jumping from one subject to another because there are so many things in both our lives that are fun to talk about. Thank you so much for talking with me about everything. It has also been fun working with you on this Itron project. It gives us more reason to talk and get together. People think it's really funny that I'm kind of your "boss". They ask me if it's weird, but really it's not. You and I have built a relationship such that it's not awkward. We work together on things. And I don't feel like your boss, but just someone I'm working with. I'm grateful for that. I'm grateful that we can have that kind of situation and still be normal between us. I'm really proud of you, Dad. Life isn't perfect, but I've never really heard you complain. And maybe you do to mom, or even to yourself, but not to me. I don't know what other parents are like, but even when things are hard, your attitude towards me and the other kids doesn't change. Our relationship doesn't change. You may be stressed, but you never let that affect how you act towards us. So thank you. To me, you are a very strong person. I don't really have a gift for you. Mother's Day and Father's Day to me isn't really about the gifts, and we've never really done that in our family. But I was thinking it would be fun if you could take a day off, or half a day, and come out here and spend the day or afternoon with me. We could either go out to eat, or make dinner so it could still be on your diet. We could watch a movie, or go out to a movie. Or if we took a Saturday or something, we could go on a hike, just you and me. That could count for your walk, and you and I have never really done something like that just the two of us. It would be fun to talk and stuff without the rest of the family. I mean I love them of course, but I would like to do that just us two. I know you're busy with work, but hopefully we can fit it in sometime. I love you a lot. I love when you tell me I should come home. Or if I'm debating on whether to come home on a Friday night and sleep over, or to just come on a Saturday, you always tell me to come on Friday. That means a lot. I'm really blessed to be your daughter. Thank you for helping me become who I am. Happy Fathers Day. | June 19, 2011 | Fathers Day

Every year our family and the Urich's go to Hayden Lake for the 4th. We get there in the morning and hang out until after the fireworks. Grandma and Grandpa usually come, but they couldn't this year. | Seaweed... On a Stick | Rachelle got a little burnt | Pop-its! | 2011

This night was so fun! Rachelle and I met Valerie Steele and some of her family. Rachelle sold a few wands and also got interviewed by Krem 2 News. They filmed her having a battle with someone dressed as a death eater too. Afterward, Rachelle slept over at my place. I took work off, so we just got to sleep in and hang out! | July 14, 2011 | Harry Potter 8 Midnight Premier

Our family decided to spend a day at Triple Play. We did miniature golf, bowling, rock/wall climbing, go-carts, swimming, bumper boats, and laser tag. And probably more. I think go-carts was the family favorite. Brandon wasn't quite tall enough, so he shared with one of us. Which actually made it more fun! | Triple Play | July 28, 2011

I feel like this year a lot of new friendships were made. | Amanda and Connor organized some fun activities, including Twister, relay games, and Family Feud. Everyone loves the kids. And there are new ones every year! Brianna said that a reunion wouldn't be a reunion without them. So true! | F | A | M | I | L | Y | 20

The talent show is always filled with so much... TALENT! | The family band has now become tradition. Tom's family sang the EFY Medley with Amanda. Many people sang and played instruments. Ater the talent show, Grandma brought in a bunch of her and Grandpa's paintings to give out to the family. My apartment is now decorated with them, and I feel like I have a piece of them with me. | R | E | U | N | I | O | N | 11

Rachelle and I spent the 3 day weekend in Bellingham with the Bates/Bolden family! | We left Friday and made it in time for Sarah's birthday party. She thought we weren't coming until Saturday. | I would say the highlight was going to Larrabee State Park. We walked the trails and took some awesome pictures. It was fun to be by the water. And the weather was perfect. | Bellingham! | September 2 - 5 2011

This weekend was Conference. I had the brilliant idea to invite a bunch of people over for Sunday to watch conference, eat lunch, and play games. At first it seemed no one would come, but by the end of the second session, we had a really awesome turnout. There were about a dozen people altogether. | I bought a bunch of new (used) furniture to accomodate the people. I made chicke noodle soup for lunch, and got a take n' bake pizza from Costco for dinner. We made homemade rootbeer too! I had never done that before. Afterward, we played The Game of Things and watched The Singles Ward. Great Day! | Conference Party | October 3, 2011

This Halloween, I dressed in a masquerade costume. So fun! Surprisingly, a lot of people asked what I was. At Jessie Tenney's party, her mom took some professional pictures. I also decidd to go to the family ward Halloween party. Jayna was a banana! It was fun to hang out with her and Kaleb. | The highlight of the season was the corn maze. Rachelle, Jayna and I went. When we got to the castle, we made friends with one of the employees who was at the top of the castle. We named him Kevin. He helped us when we were lost. It was great! | Halloween
