S: The things I have seen...

Hi! I sit here staring at that this page and do not have much to say. Who am I kidding? I always have a lot to say. Although, I do have a thought that when you write things down you tend to censor yourself more. I feel compelled to be profound, for the words to fall onto the page like photographs where the lines and contours of each letter speak for themselves, one for a thousand. | Well, that I can promise, you will not get from me. All I can provide is a book of things I have seen through a Nikon lens. It is not much, but it is all that I have, so page through with low expectations, I am convinced it will be better for the both of us. If you like it, share it with someone that you love, if you hate it, share it with someone that you hate and if you are indifferent, well don't share it with anyone... | K | A | R | y | R | M | a | o | w | e

I make the trip to Park City every year to the Sundance Film Festival and every year I am impressed by the dedication of the street performers in this small mountain town as they brave the elements. With only the clothes on their back and their talents, they provide a nice little soundtrack for all the visiting movie-goers.

I don't often capture the human element, but I can't help myself when a child is involved. | Lacking the predisposition to pose, capturing a child on film speaks to the beauty of spontaneity, pureness of heart and the raw emotions of moments in time...

I have had the pleasure of attending events held by MIRAc and could not help but capture the bright colors that emulate their passion and the demonstrations that feature their strength of character.

Who doesn't like to hike? Every time I hike, even if it is in the same place, I find something new... Something that causes you to stop.. Something that causes you to look... Hiking gives you that time to wonder...

With seven lakes within a couple of miles of each other the fog can overwhelm my weekly visits to my parent's house. I took one fine foggy day as an opportunity to see life through the lens. I thank my camera for revealing that which I could not see...

Spend the afternoon walking around downtown Minneapolis and this is what you get...

What is right side up? My version; placing things on their head... Maybe that's the lefty in me.

Meet my family. Instead of going to brunch we spend our mornings protesting the Archbishop for his inability to separate church from state. This is where I come from...
