Mommy loved the feeling of having you in my belly! I loved having you moving and kicking inside me!! | Your big sister Elizabeth was very excited to meet you just like mommy and daddy!!
Mommy had a c-section booked for 10 am and you arrived at 1038 am. Dr Crumley was the one who did the surgery. We loved hearing your first cry and the announcement that you were a GIRL!!!
You were so upset in the OR after you arrived but you were the perfect baby afterwards!! I loved having my coworkers take care of the both of us while we were there!
Date: November 10th 2009 Time: 1038 am Weight: 9 lb (or 8 lb 16 oz was the joke) Length: 19 1/2 Inch
We were so excited to bring you home!! Because of restrictions Elizabeth could not come see you in the hospital so this was the first time she met you! She was so excited and was the sweetest big sister!!
Our first pictures as a family of four!! Taken when Ashley was only 10 days old.
You were such a happy little baby! You were a great sleeper too! We took you for your 1 week check up and you were 8 lb 10.5 oz and 51 cm. You had lots of people come over to meet you! We had your first Christmas when you were 6 weeks and you got spoiled! We started seeing smiles from you when you were 5 weeks old....they melted mommy's heart | At your 2 month check up you were 13lb and 23 1/2 inch. You grew so quick!!
0-2 Months Old | Your sister loved you so much! She was the best big sister you could ask for!!
3-4 months old | By now you spent all day smiling! We all LOVED your dimples!! You were so content playing on your play mat. You would stay there for hours a day! At 4 1/2 months you began to talk baby talk and cooing. We loved hearing your sweet little voice. . Bubbles began too :) At 4 months and 1 week you rolled onto your tummy during the night and I found you like that in the morning. It was a couple months before you rolled for me again!
We took you to the doctors for your 4 month check up and you were 16.9lbs and 25 inch.
5-6 months old | Still smiles ALL the time!! We took our first car ride to Ottawa in April for your first Easter. You began sucking your thumb at 5 1/2 months. Feet were so interesting to you too at 5 1/2 months
Bath's were lots of fun for you! You made lots of puddles everywhere! We started you on solid foods. Cereal first which you HATED then we started veggies (sweet potato) which you LOVED! Lots of messy faces for us to see.
7-8 months old | We got to share lots of excitement with you these couple months. When you were just over 6 months old you got your first 2 teeth!! The bottom front ones. When you were 7 months you began to sit on your own...you were so excited! We also heard "Mama" first and then "Dada" They melted our hearts! You got your 2 front top teeth at 7 1/2 months. You were so easy going with teething that I never knew teeth were coming until they were there. At 8 months you figured out how to get from laying on the floor to sitting up....not much longer and you became mobile! At 8 months you all got another tooth. Another one at the top!
During these months we visited the splash parks and wading pools. You loved splashing around! At your 6 month check up you were 18 lb ad 26 1/2 inch
9-10 months old | This meant trouble for us but when you were almost 9 months you stared to crawl and you were quick!! A few days later you began to pull yourself up to standing! You were on a mission. You also got another tooth on the bottom front. At 9 1/2 months you got yet another two on the bottom. Right before you turned 10 month you began to WALK with your puppy walker toy! This means in the matter of just over a month you went from crawling to walking! You were so proud and so were we!!
11-12 months old | You began to become a pro at walking. You used your puppy walker for a while then one day you walked away from it. You were around 11 months. At 10 1/2 months you began to do stairs.
At 11 months you got teeth # 9 and 10. These were coming non stop but still didn't bother you! Too bad you hated having them brushed! | 11-12 Months
 1 ONE
We can't believe how quick a year has gone by and that you are turning 1!! We had a party at our house with friends and family. You got lots of good stuff and loved opening your presents. Your big sister tried to help with them all. You weren't sure about your cake at the beginning but warmed up to it! You even shared some pieces with me even though they had drool on.
