36: "Before the Storm" Watercolor When Hurricane Bruce threw his weight around down in Key West, we felt some of his fury at the Isle of Palms. Waves were beautiful that week and the surfers were out in full force. Bruce never did show up on our doorsteps. He just let us know he knew where we lived!

40: "Welcome" Watercolor The pineapple...a symbol of Southern hospitality. I found this crewel stitched tablecloth on one of my many jaunts through antique shops over the years. Not sure what drew me to it, but I had to have it. When it came time for me to compose this still life, I thought immediately of that tablecloth and had to rummage through the attic to find it. It was perfect!
