1: INCREDIBLE Journey | Saturday, July 16....KC to DFW Sunday, July 17, 6:00 AM... DFW to LAX Daddy got the last seat on the first flight to Maui... Mom and Michaela hung out at the airport and with divine intervention caught the last flight out of LAX bound for the islands, only not to Maui, but instead to Kona! After arriving in Kona, Michaela and Mom caught a taxi and found a Ma & Pa seaside hotel for the night and made arrangements to fly out the next day to Maui by way of Honolulu on Hawaiian Airlines.

4: Dad arrived at the Marriott Ocean Club Sunday afternoon. After picking up our rental car he headed to Costco and Wal-Mart for groceries before heading to the resort. Dad headed to the airport again to pick us up around 4:00 Monday afternoon. After a quick in-service on the resort from Dad, Michaela headed to the water. Bottom left photo is the view from our balcony.
7: Tuesday we spent cruising the famous curvy road to Hana. We stopped at an off road waterfall, where Michaela swam in the tranquil pool. We had a tailgate lunch due to the rainy weather. This drive although beautiful through a tropical rainforest, was nauseating.
