6: Imagining Motherhood The number of children I thought I would have and why: two, I grew up in a family with 2 children. I wanted this many boys and girls: 1 boy, 1 girl Qualities I feel will make me a great mother: I am a very patient person and I love kids. 10: I'm Expecting! I first thought I might be pregnant because: I was late on my cycle. Day and place when I first suspected: Saturday June 19th on the way home from Brandon. How I confirmed my pregnancy: I took 2 tests. Once my pregnancy was confirmed, I felt: overwhelmed/ shocked/ excited I was overjoyed because: we had been trying a while and were starting to wonder if something was wrong. 16: First Doctor's Visit Date & location: Tues July 26, 2011 @ Vicksburg Womens care Clinic Before my first appointment I felt: Nervous & excited My Doctor: Joseph D. Austin M.D I chose my doctor because: Highly recommended Procedure Performed: Urine Sample, blood work, pap Baby's progress: good, come back in 2 wks for sonogram Notes: Projected due date: March 21st; 6 wks pregnant
17: Pea in a Pod During the first weeks, I felt: normal, , just more hungry than usual. My mood: Moody! My energy: Drained! My skin: Normal My body: Bloated! Any Sickness: some nausea, but no actual sickness! My appetite :increased! Hungry every four hours. Strangest food I crave: Nothing so far. My new favorite food: Breakfast Foods Food I can't touch!: pasta, Italian, and seafood
18: First Glimpses Before my ultrasound I felt: Excited to get to see the baby for the first time! The ultrasound revealed: A healthy baby with a normal heartbeat. My reaction when I first saw the baby: it's so little, it looks like a peanut My reaction when I heard the heartbeat: great feeling! My partner's reaction: He saw the baby on the screen before I did and I saw his face light up and he started smiling. Any Surprises?: I was told I have some blood in my uterus, but the doctor said it's common. After the scan, I felt: ready for the next one!

45: My Second Trimester Looking Back | One of the Best days I had: Finding out what Parker was One of the toughest days I had: Just leg and back pain A funny memory this trimester: Cody feeling parker "kick the crap out of him."
