S: Lenning Family 2010
FC: A Year in Review
1: 2010 was a very special year. We enjoyed watching Isabelle leap from milestone to milestone and welcomed our son James McCauley to the world. Two days after celebrating Izzy's 2nd birthday, and about an hour before we were to take Aunt Erin to the airport, Mac decided to join us a week earlier than planned. We spent most of the summer at the pool where Izzy thrived with her swim lessons and Mac chilled in his carrier with his portable fan. In September we visited Holiday World and knew we would be back many times. We spent a week in Hilton Head with Lala and Pops. Izzy started preschool at A&HT. The first two days were rough, but on day three she loved every minute of it and never looked back. In the fall, Patty and Brad began their mission to get back in shape with the Cincy Half Marathon and the Turkey Trot. Thanksgiving was low key and very enjoyable, followed by Mac's baptism. The holidays were ushered in with a a trip to Santa Claus which included dinner with Santa, the festival of lights, and the inaugural Holiday Jingle 5k. The annual Christmas party was, again, a success and the preschool Christmas feast was delicious. Once again we ended the year in Florida where Patty & Grandma won the Carter Caudle Cup and we stayed in a fantastic condo in Ft. Myers. Unfortunately, both kids were sick, but we made it to the beach a couple of times :) All in all it was a wonderful year!
3: In February, we made our final visit to Grandma and Grandpa's apartment in Oak Park. We toured Frank Lloyd Wright's studio and made Izzy's first pilgrimage to the American Girl Store downtown. Yes, G & G got their girl her first A.G. Doll- a Bitty Baby
