10: Christmas Eve Night December 24, 1944 at precisely 10:30 | " We were at Betty's and Don gave it to me with a toy monkey as a joke. I was completely surprised but very happy. The diamond has a seventy-five point diamond with 2 smaller diamonds on each side. " | " It was a dark and dismal day but somehow beautiful. We arrived at the church at 8:55 a.m. Henery Murray played the wedding march. Uncle Francis gave me in marriage. Rev. Robert Sullivan married us. We left the church at 9:50. Then went to Bertholfs and had pictures taken. At 11 we went to the Johnson City American Legion for breakfast. The reception was held from 2 to 5 at the Ousterout's. We left for Canada at 4:30. 11: " We left Endicott at 4:30 and went to Syracuse. We arraived there at 7:45. We stayed in room 615 at the Hotel Syracuse. On Sunday we went to E. Syracuse to see the Rollason's. We then left for Oswego. We stayed at the Hotel Pontiac in room 215. We left Oswego at 10 and went to Watertown and then on through to Ganananque, Cananda. We stayed just outside of there in the Golden Slipper Cabins. | We left Canada on tuesday and 1:30 p.m. and came back through Watertown and Syracuse. We arrived in Endicott at 7 on Tuesday night. "
