S: Vacation 2011
FC: Bermuda Cruise May 2011
While docked in the harbor, we had a beautiful view of New York City and the Statue of Liberty!
On our way to dinner that first evening, the girls enjoyed the view of the harbor from the boat.
Dining in style... | This was the girls' favorite spot to sit after they were finished eating dinner. | ! | ...with and ocean view
We had an exciting first night on the boat! This was the first cruise for Holli and Hannah. The girls' favorite part was staying up until midnight to see the parade. At the end, confetti filled the air creating a rainbow of colors. The girls had so much fun throwing the confetti in the air!
What a great experience watching an ice show in the middle of the ocean!
Playing putt putt with our friends Melody and Michael... Family + Friends = Memories
Horseshoe Bay was a beautiful beach in Bermuda. It was a cold, windy day, but that didn't stop the girls from playing in the waves. After exploring the beach, we took the bus to a town in Bermuda to have lunch-KFC (how authentic)! We went to a few stores but didn't explore very long due to the rain. The ferry ride back to the boat was fun... and dry.
Holli wasn't so sure about the water at first, but at the end, she has a smile on her face. The smiles soon faded when she discovered the sand stuck to her feet!
We spent two days docked in Bermuda. The pictures on the left were taken at Horseshoe Bay. The picture above shows our boat, The Explorer of the Seas!
Our favorite time in Bermuda was hanging out at the beach on the second day. It was a little chilly and very windy, but the sun was shining. It was such a nice, relaxing time to share as a family.
 Beautiful Bermuda
 Holli and Friends
Heidi and Daddy both made it to the top. Heidi was one very determined little girl!
What a beautiful sunny day to be out on the deep blue sea!
We had a great view outside our window facing the front of the ship; however, it wasn't so great the last day and a half when there were 80 mph gusts of wind and 25 ft. waves! It was definitely a memorable trip and the first major vacation with our complete family!
