 Welcome to COSTA RICA
Day 1: Arrive in San Jose, CR Travel via bus to Monte Verde, where we are met by our hosts from Cabinas El Pueblo, Freddie and Marlenny.
 Freddie | Day 2
Waking at the crack of dawn after a bumpy ride in the night before, we enjoyed a homemade meal from the hostel chef, which primed us for a big day ahead.
Zip lining, Supermaning and Tarzaning through the rain forest filled our morning.
 See the ants?
After lunch at a 'Soda', we went for a good hike to check out some of the lesser traveled parts of Monte Verde. | The trip to the bathroom, made once a week
Days 3-5: | We splurged on a van service instead of the $7/9-hour bus ride to get us to our next stop: Manuel Antonio. We arrived early in the afternoon and hurried down a steep trail that opened up to this beautiful sight.
Outdoor kitchen at our hostel: Backpackers Manuel Antonio
Our time in Manuel Antonio was spent at the beach, where we swam, surfed, ate and relaxed. And, exploring the national park where we saw some amazing wildlife.
 The beach path...
The Manuel Antonio National Park is home to some incredible animals, trees, plants and trails. Alli preferred the trails marked with yellow caution tape...
Though we weren't sure we were going to make it in time, the Aldea Hostel was a trendy little spot, perfect for our final night in CR. | Day 5 con't:
Our time here was short, but we made the most of it. We had incredible experiences that gave us a taste of the Costa Rican flavor. We also met great people from around the world that gave us a fresh perspective on our lives in America. Altogether, we rocked it.
Pura Vida! | Hasta Luego, Costa Rica.
