BC: The End

FC: The Story of Macbeth by Clayton Clemont

Once upon a time, in a far, far away place there lived a really nice King named King Duncan "Golden opinions from all sorts of people"

King Duncan had a good friend named Macbeth who took advantage of the King "The service and the loyalty I owe In doing it pays itself."

Macbeth visits three witches who tell him he is going to become king "All hail, Macbeth, that shalt be king hereafter!"

But he realizes there is a problem and for Macbeth to become king he must get rid of King Duncan "If good, why do I yield to that suggestion Whose horrid image doth unfix my hair And make my seated heart knock at my ribs"

So Macbeth and Lady Macbeth made up an evil plan to betray the king

Lady Macbeth forces Macbeth to kill King Duncan.

Macbeth snuck into King Duncan's bedroom while he was sleeping and killed the king with the guards sword

"But be the serpent under ’t. He that’s coming Must be provided for; and you shall put This night’s great business into my dispatch"

Macbeth realizes the only way to hide the murder is to keep killing people

Macbeth killed Banquo because he knew about the murder.

When Macbeth gets a visit from his murdered friend Banquo, it sends Macbeth into a raving fit. "Thou canst not say I did it. Never shake Thy gory locks at me."

Duncan's son, Malcolm, is gathering in England to revenge his fathers death.

The witches told Macbeth that he will be defeated, and he goes out committed to dying a soldierly death

Macbeth is killed and Malcolm is named the grateful king, and everyone goes off to party at the coronation ceremony. "Ay, and brought off the field. Your cause of sorrow Must not be measured by his worth, for then It hath no end."
