We LOVE being parents and feel like it it the MOST important task God has given us at this time in our lives! As we think of you again we want to thank you for choosing life for your baby! You are a wonderful strong person! Our prayers are with you! | Sunset On Lake Michigan | Hi to you from our country home in Michigan! We are Clark & Kristin and we thank you for taking time to learn a little bit about our family. We are so excited to welcome a new little one into our hearts! We cannot know just how you are feeling, but after having an open adoption with our daughter's 'first mom' we know it can be tough. Through our daughter's adoption we have found out that adoption is one of the most loving acts we have EVER witnessed! | Dear Mother-to-be...Welcome! | One of the many streams in our area!
After becoming friends through our church youth groups we were married in June 2008! Our marriage is strong, it continues to grow every day, and we are definitely each other's best friend. Being open and completely trusting each other are some of the keys to happiness in our marriage. We are committed to a lifetime together just as our parents were before us! | Our love continues to grow each day and we are best friends! | FALL- We love it! | Ahhh...harvestime! | About Us
Our Daughter... Cherith | This little girl was born January 2013. She is our little miracle and an answer to our prayers. She has added so much to our lives. We have a semi open adoption with her 1st mom which we appreciate very much. Cherith has a curious personality and she doesn't miss anything! She loves other children and often bursts into laughter when they play with her. We can't imagine life without her! She looks forward to the day when God sends her a little brother or sister! | She LOVES her red wagon!
After facing infertility we soon decided that adoption was God's plan to make us a family! We soon became very excited about this idea! After what seemed like forever Cherith was born and we felt instant love for her! We often thank God for her and LOVE being parents. We feel there is lots of room and love in our hearts for another little person. We'd love it if our children could have a sibling close in age so they can be best friends and playmates. :) | STEPS TO ADOPTION | At the Pacific Coast in CA! We LOVED it here! | Redwoods in California. Kristin's grandma lives in CA
Here she is reading stories with daddy, playing toys, riding bike, opening presents, and huggin' mama!!
We love life with its exciting experiences and enjoy spending time together doing many different things! Playing tennis and biking, kayaking and canoeing are some of our favorite physical summer activities. In the winter we go sledding on our small backyard hill. We love to play games such as Settlers of Catan, Scrabble, Phase 10, Cranium, and many more. Farming is a job we both like because it gives us lots of chances to be with each other. Its always interesting to watch the crops grow and exciting to harvest when they're ready! | Playing Tennis | Fun at the PARK!!
Taking trips to see relatives in other states and vacationing up north are a highlight of the year. While we enjoy a quiet evening at home, we are always ready to spend time with our many friends and families, too. We enjoy going out together for supper or ice cream. We look forward to going to church each Sunday to be fed spiritually and to connect with our friends (many with young children like us).Starting each day with a prayer and ending it with a Bible reading helps us every day. Our lives are rich and meaningful. | piggy back ride! | Clark's sister and family in KS. We all got engrossed in this game! | Flying airplanes is Clark's idea of FUN!!
THOUGHTS OF KRISTIN (by Clark) Kristin is very special to me, and our love for each other means everything. She really enjoys being with people and sharing in their lives. Kristin is very sensitive to the needs of others and reaches out to help wherever she can. She has a smile and laugh that are contagious to those around her! Kristin is a stay at home mom and she says it's the best job you can have. Her love and caring for Cherith shows what a great mother she is! | A chance to go shopping with friends is seldom passed up. She also LOVES going to Lake Michigan to watch the sunset! She keeps the house cleaned, food on the table, the lawn mowed, and makes life interesting. Her personal dedication to God also inspires me. | KRISTIN..... | at the zoo! | baking brownies! | Snuggles at bedtime!
Clark is blue-eyed, dark haired, and tall. He balances a neat sense of humor with much caring and kindness. Clark is a wonderful daddy to Cherith and you can tell that he can hardly wait to come home from work each day to be with her. He spends time playing on the floor with her and making her laugh. Clark's dad spent a lot of time with him teaching him things like hunting, fishing, snowshoeing, farming and other hands on activities. I can see Clark passing some of those same thing on to his children. Being an agriculture farmer is Clark's dream job so he enjoys every minute out on the field. Clark's number 1 hobby is flying and building radio control airplanes. He just loves when he has a still quiet evening to fly. Clark's faith in Jesus is the key attribute that makes him a wonderful person, husband, and father. Clark is a man of great character and a daily inspiration to me! | THOUGHTS OF CLARK (by Kristin) | CLARK..... | Beautiful MI Dunes | sure likes his tractor!

Most Saturday nights we go out for pizza with Kristin's parents and siblings. Her family has a tradition of going to Mackinac island every year and we look forward to it all year! We are thankful for the love and teachings from our parents and want our children to feel the same way some day. Our families support our adoptions and would love to welcome a baby into our family! 12: OUR FAITH LIFE We would like to tell you about our faith in God. We believe in a God who created the world and sent His Son to die on the cross to save those that would believe from their sins. We are thankful to God for His love and forgiveness to us. Even though we are not perfect He gives us power to to be Christians. We attend church to listen to Gospel preaching and to fellowship with other believers of Christ. Attending church is not what makes us Christians, but rather it is living every day for Jesus. We hope to meet you in Heaven someday!
We live in the country on 4.5 acres of partially wooded land. There is a neat little trail through our woods where we often see deer and other wildlife. Our backyard is huge and a great play place!
