Over the summer I went to an AAU National Basketball tournament in Orlando, Florida. It is where over 100 teams from all over the U.S. compete against each other for a gold medal and higher rankings in the country. I attended the tournament with my AAU team, which is an all star basketball team. We all are great ball players who all want to play in college. The event was very memorable because we finished up as the ninth best team in the whole country. It was the first time I had experienced anything like it. If I could, I would love to attend this again. It is a once-in-a-lifetime type of event, but, unfortunately, you can't play AAU as a senior in high school.
Ol' Florida State, Florida State, how I'm ready to come down To be with my new family and the people around town. Basketball will be my love, and academics will be my hobby While I'm walking around campus, meeting new people in the lobby. Even though I'm nervous and I have a little fear, All of these feelings will be gone in less than a year. As I say good-bye to my Cherryville peers, The thought of me leaving will bring many tears. We'll reminisce on all the fun but we'll know our good times are not done.
Most Rewarding Experiences | My sister having my nephew and making me an uncle. | Signing my letter of intent to play basketball at Florida State University.
All State in Basketball | Dunk for the first time on my 13th birthday | Being 1 of the top 100 players in the country.
Terry I'm funny, athletic, tatted, quiet. Danielle, Dominic are my siblings. Lover of basketball, macaroni and cheese, cinnamon toast crunch, and tornadoes. I feel anxious and determined. I fear spiders. Who would like to see the Statue of Liberty, New York, and everyone happy. Cherryville is where i reside. Whisnant.
My extraordinary pet is the beautiful white tiger. He goes by the name Adam and is an extraordinary pet because it is fierce and kind and sweet all at the same time. I've always loved white tigers and I would love to have one when I get older. Not many animals are as beautiful and amazing as the white tiger. It has the gorgeous white fur with the fall in love blue eyes that you can't resist.
Happy smells like the locker room. Happy feels like a basketball coming out of my hands. Happy taste like Gatorade. Happy sounds like the ball going into the net. Happy looks like the scoreboard at the end of the game. | Respectable | Hilarious | Generous | Silver | Kind
We've all had crazy stories about ourselves of how we acted when we were little. Well I have a tale to share with you. I was around 3 years old and it was Christmas morning, so I was the first one up of course, and my parents had bought me my first basketball goal. They told me it was the only thing that I would continue to play with the entire day. It was kind of weird because looking at me now, I'm in love with basketball and it is all I ever want to do. I'm just happy my parents bought me that basketball goal.
Before time passes me by I would want to go bungee jumping, along with sky dive, and meet all of my idols. By the time I am 35, I would want to see my son grow up because every dad would want to see his son grow up and become a young man. Sometimes saying good-bye to a couple of things or people that you usually need in your everyday life could be a positive thing. With that being said I've said my good-byes to a couple of people that i used to hang with when I was younger. Just because that I wanted to better myself and stay out of trouble but also because they were not pursuing the same dreams that I am and when someone doesn't understand what it takes and that person is always trying to get you in trouble, the best thing to do is to cut them loose and move on.
If you were told that you will be leaving home for a while and you could only take five items, what would you choose? What do you consider the things you can't live without? Presented with the situation I chose a basketball, orange juice, shoes, deodorant, and toothbrush! A random combinations, but I decided on these five things because they are apart of my everyday life.
Q: Did you have your learners permit? A: Yes, for a year. Q: Do you have your driver's license? A: Yes, two years. Q: What did you do to get them? A: I had to take a computerized test and drive with my assigned examiner Q: Did you pass the test on the first attempt or did it take several? A: i passed the first try Q: Was your examiner terrifying, encouraging, or in between? A: I considered her as encouraging, she is my aunt. Q: What did you do to practice driving? A: I drove as much as possible with my mothers presences Q: With whom did you practice? A: my mother and father Q: Are you a safe driver? A: i would like to consider myself a safe driver, but i have some bad habits
People who have influenced me My uncle, my dad,my mom, my sisters, my coaches, Lebron James, Kobe Bryant. Places that make me happy Basketball court, bowling alley, Florida, tattoo shop, the mall, and beaches. Things that have moved me Uncle's death, mom and dad's divorce, great-grandmother's death, sprained ankle, my nephew. My personal favorites Lebron James, Kobe Bryant, Dwyane Wade, Carmelo Anthony, Tattoos, and Shoes.
My favorite NBA player Lebron James. I love this dude (NO HOMO). LeBron’s quickness and strength are off the charts, his court vision and ball-handling skills are highly developed, and his rebounding and defense are superb. LeBron’s passing ability is nothing short of extraordinary. He not only sees the whole court, but anticipates the movement of teammates and defenders.
I believe that when I went to Las Vegas a couple years back was my best vacation that I've ever had. I was down there for a basketball tournament so I don't know if you could really call it a vacation but it was amazingly beautiful. Even though it was so freaking hot. It was like 90 degrees at NIGHT TIME! I was like "What in the mother freak is going on out here?" Everything was different than anything I had ever seen before. The buildings, the food, the lights, just everything that I came across just seemed to be different than what I was accustomed to. And oh my goodness gracious, the girls out there! SAY WHAT! Mmmm mmm mmm that's all I have to say about that one. I will definitely be going back to Las Vegas as soon as possible.
My dad has influenced me in a lot of different ways. He's brought me up in a way that every kid would want to be brought up. Influencing me in basketball, school, life, family, and just pretty much anything you can think of he has been a huge factor in my life. I thank him for everything and becoming the man that I am.
I think one of my worst high school memories is my freshman year. I was on the varsity basketball team and we were all heading out for practice and everybody was on the same side of the court. So it was time to split up for drills and so I took off running to the other baseline and when I did I didn't notice it was wet so I fell and busted my butt. It was a bad experience that day.
My mother has influenced my family because she always tells us stories of what she had done when she was younger. I love my mama and I would do anything for her. She helps me and my sisters out a lot with anything no matter what it is or what it's about. She will always be there I know so that is never a worry with me.
This to me looks like a kid who has been put into a terrible situation. He is surrounded by people who want to kill him for some reason.. Also he's clueless about what is going on.
