BC: "Barrett will never be forgotten" 1992-2009 Remember Me Remember me when flowers bloom Early in the spring Remember me on sunny days In the fun that summer brings Remember me in the fall As you walk through leaves of gold And remember me in the wintertime In the stories that are told But most of all remember Each day right from the start I will be forever near For I live within your heart

FC: Armstrong Falcon Football Class of 2011

 Barrett Forst Ugland

Steve and Renee with Falcon Football Class of 2011 10/20/10

Little Barrett! | Dear Barrett, I cannot begin to tell you how much you are missed by your team. We all love you and really wish you could be here tonight in person. We know you are here in other ways. During middle school, you shot an airsoft pellet inside of my house and that pellet sits on my nightstand everyday as a great memory of you. I love you and miss you very much. Your friend always, Nathan Johnson

We have missed you the past two years... you have had such an impact on this program. We are going to dominate this last home game in honor of you. We love you and always will. Dylan Jorgenson

It's been different without you here. Your family is in our prayers as well as you. We all miss you and wish you were here every step of the way. TEAMMATE

I | Barrett, Miss you man, wish I was playing with you and you could help me with my AP Calc. That's messing me up! Hope all is well man. Be Good. Elder

Barrett, Been awhile but things are going well. Looking forward to seeing you in heaven. Love you bro, Dan Nelson

I remember during AP US History sophomore year how we would joke around with Barrett and say that he could remember everything. Barrett was a really modest person so he would always blush when we would do this. Love and miss you Barrett, Love, John Arnost

MENTOR I miss you a lot bro. You were always there when I needed help with homework and you would always take the time to teach me. I wish you could be playin' out there with us Wed. night. I know you will be there in spirit. Love you bro, Jake Reinhardt #9

Hey buddy, there's a lot I could say right now. I'll start with I miss you. I miss you so much. I guess God had different plans for you. I wish you could be here next to me. This one's for you! I hope heaven is chill. Cal

Barrett, You will always be remembered. Everyone who knew you knew that you were a one of a kind kid. Smart and talented in many ways. You are always in the hearts of the young men on our football team. | Always remembered Never forgotten - Brock

Dedicated Athlete I have many fond memories of Barrett since I first met him playing football in fifth grade. But the memory that has stuck with me the most was from our 7th grade English class. Ms. Donner gave us an assignment to choose a song and write a paper on the meaning of the song. Barrett picked the Family Guy theme song. I'll never forget when he read his paper to the class. Some students laughed when he told us what song he chose, saying there's no meaning to that song. But his paper was one of the best in the class, and I'm pretty sure he received a perfect score. He won the respect of all of his classmates with what he said. It showed his great sense of humor and intelligence. I also remember when he hurt his back and couldn't play football. He was always in the stands cheering for us. That meant a lot to me and to the whole team.. Every time we play, we know that Barrett is with us, cheering for us. Jake Damiani, Class of 2011

Dear Barrett, I didn't know you very well but the times I did get to talk to you, you were always nice to me. Every time I got to talk to you I got smarter because you were without a doubt the smartest kid I knew. You will always be in my heart. | A Great Student

I have many memories of Barrett on the football field, mostly doing what he did best, playing with all his heart and protecting NIck. It was always so much fun to watch them in 6th, 7th and 8th grade both regular season and All-Stars and of course some 9th grade games until Barrett hurt his back. It was a huge loss to the team. He was an outstanding offensive guard! After his injury, it is clear in my mind, Barrett (and Steve) attending every one of his teammates games cheering them on with football in hand. I can still see him ever so gracefully tossing/flipping the ball while cheering and being quick with the call. Armstrong Class of 2011 will forever be bonded by the great loss of a wonderful student, friend and athlete. Thanks for all the memories Barrett. Rest in Peace. May God continue to hold you close Steve, Renee and Britta Kelley Brugnoli

My memories of Barrett Ugland all stem from the football field. Simply enough, that is where our paths crossed. Barrett was an opponent during the early youth football years, when I was coaching other teams and Barrett would be on his Dad Steve's teams. Barrett was always a force to be reckoned with--a natural lineman made excellent by the coaching provided by his Dad (an excellent coach himself, steeped in good football technique.) In 7th and 8th grades, when we fielded some 'all-star' teams to go up and play at the Blaine Sports Center, I had the pleasure of having Barrett on my own team and helping coach him. What a joy it was to have this competitor on my own team instead of playing against him! Barrett was long, lean and aggressive, and was especially adept at pulling or else leading a sweep to the outside, as I remember it. Eager, serious faced, ready to take anyone and anything on, that's how I remember Barrett. We should all take on life with such an attitude and approach. In that, he was an inspiration for all of us.
