S: Fall Horse Drive 2010
BC: Some trails are happy ones, Others are blue. It's the way you ride the trail that counts, Here's a happy one for you. Happy trails to you until we meet again. Happy trails to you, keep smilin' until then. Who cares about the clouds when we're together? Just sing a song and bring the sunny weather. Happy trails to you 'till we meet again.
FC: The Horse Drive Adventures of Buddy the Kid | September 2010
I should've been a Cowboy I should've learned to rope and ride Wearing my six-shooter riding my pony on a cattle drive Stealing the young girl's hearts Just like Gene and Roy Singing those campfire songs Oh I should've been a cowboy
It was time to saddle up for the trip of a lifetime with Bob Tanner and his wranglers at the Mammoth Pack Station. Buddy the Kid saddled up on the Black Stallion, Radar and his sidekick Mandy mounted an 'ol’ Appalucian, Gremlin and they headed into the sunset to form a line across the trail. Soon to follow.100 of Bob Tanner's horses and mules.!
I grew up dreaming of being a cowboy and loving the cowboy ways Pursuing a life of my high-riding heroes, I burned up my childhood days | Headed towards the trail and getting a lead on the herd.
 Our first Highway 395 crossing
 Heading towards Crowley Lake
Full Moon over Lake Crowley | Full moon over Crowley Lake
 Camping at Crowley Lake
Dinner was served and campfire songs were sung. (Shut up and kiss me) Buddy the Kid and his sidekick Mandy battled dehydration and cramps in extremely low temperatures while the wranglers battled with the old pump and horse shoes.! Steam rose off the lake the following morning as the cowboys and cowgirls dined on eggs, bacon and pancakes. But all too soon, we were back in the saddle again.
I'm back in the saddle again Out where a friend is a friend Where the longhorn cattle feed On the lowly gypsum weed Back in the saddle again
Hi ho Silver away Ride into tomorrow today But who was that masked man you say That was the Lone Ranger | Drink Water Mandy | Daddy, you are leaning to the left... ROUND RADAR
CASA DIABLO | The herd made it to Casa Diablo, but not without injuries. Raymond’s horse, Brandy went lame and Lee was kicked in the shin by a mule. Buddy and Mandy took a short rest while the wranglers tended to Lee and then the riders set up camp under the stars. There were songs by the campfire (Shut up and kiss meAGAIN) and cowboy tales courtesy of Raymond and Lee. Matt and Keith were stranded back at the old pump in the truck without headlights and as the flower child took a turn at the guitar, she discussed her homemade salves. Soon it was time to turn in for the night. Once again the riders awoke to a fully cooked breakfast made by Raymond and a “howdy” from Bob Tanner. It was time to saddle up yet again! | There's blood on the saddle and blood on the ground, And a great great big puddle of blood all around; A cowboy lay in it all covered with gore And he never will ride any broncos no more.
Sandra, Raymond and Bud | Riding Drag | Leaving Casa Diablo and heading towards the river for lunch
Raymond the Rhinestone Cowboy | Raymond teh Rhinestone Cowboy | Driving the horses down the hill | Raymond the Rhinestone Cowboy
