4: While in Bryce Canyon, we hiked: Sunset Point, Navajo Loop, Peek-A-Boo Loop and Bryce Point.

7: Bryce Canyon National Park is named for pioneer Ebenezer Bryce in 1875. He was sent by the LDS Church because his skill as a carpenter would be helpful in settling the area.

71: The waterfall plunges 130 feet over a sandstone cliff, and then flows to meet the Escalante River
73: We started on this hike just before dusk. Coming out of the falls it was dark, we were not prepared for hiking in the dark. Aunt Gayle fell in cacti on the way out.

76: The sure-footed horses and mules walk very close to the edges of the cliffs.
