A general sitting on a porch. This interested me because he looks serious and like a very important person.
Yorktown, Va. Confederate sandbag fortifications. This interested me because I sort of felt sorry for the man who had to lift all of those on to the truck. My picture was taken at the local Home Depot store.
Cumberland Landing, Va. Federal encampment on Pamunkey River, Va This was a really cool view of a valley, which I like because I live in a valley with awesome views too.
Yorktown, Va. Confederate naval gun; in background is Nelson Church, used as a hospital. This is a cool shot of an old cannon. Which by the way today is called a tank. Below is a modern tank located at a veterans lodge two blocks from my house.
Fair Oaks, Va. Lt. James B. Washington, a Confederate prisoner, with Capt. George A. Custer of the 5th Cavalry, U.S.A.]. | This reminded me of me and my Uncle Craig hanging out.
