S: Civil War Memories

FC: Civil War Memories | 1861-1865

1: I chose this picture of James Alden because he is showing what being serious and being focused is all about. James was one of the most important people in the war.

2: I decided to re-create this picture because I really wanted to show that women too had a very important job in the civil war and they were amazing people! Plus, I really connected with this women and seeing her making things because that's what I'm doing!

3: Although this picture is very sad and very heartbreaking, I really thought that re-creating this picture would show the dramatic touch and the interesting contrast that the picture has to offer. Seeing this wounded solider can be surprising, but its really amazing how its set up.

4: I chose this picture because it showed how the men were affected by the war. Some were killed, and some where hurt. They really had lots of troubles during the war.

5: I chose this picture because it shows the true meaning of the war. Fighting! And the men look serious and ready to rumble. My brother and I had a hard time keeping a straight face.
