I chose this picture because I liked that it had an American flag and a Confederate flag in it because I had access to both types of flags. My dad was willing to be the Confederate soldier while I was the Union soldier. | Determination | North | South
I chose this portrait because I wanted to be able to recreate it using items that I could find around my house. I used a broomstick with a chopstick taped to the top, a belt, a hat, a jacket, a wallet, and I piece of paper for the belt buckle.
I chose this picture because I wanted to go to Valley Forge park and recreate it in front of one of the cannons there. I used a hat, a jacket, a belt, a tin can, a stick, and a bolster pillow. I tried to make the picture look old like theirs. | Ready, Aim, Fire... | Boom
I chose this picture because I wanted to wear a can on my head to represent Abraham Lincoln's hat. I used my pop-up tent from when I was a kid and my family was nice enough to stand in the picture with me. | Liberty Freedom
I chose this picture because I knew I could recreate it by myself since there is only one dead soldier in it. (But I did not like having to lay on the grass.) | All gave some, but some gave all
