It all started when the school agreed with a trip of graduation for all 9th graders to Canada every year so everyone could live the experience of the “Camp Summit”.
Camp Summit is a camp as the name says that loves hanging out with young people, making fun activities and trips.
We took a plane and arrived first in Los Angeles because we had to make the stop before arriving to Vancouver.
So we hanged for 2 hours waiting for the flight to Canada so we ate at the airport and just getting ready for our trip.
Finally our flight took off and had a 4 hour flight to the airport of Vancouver; we arrived at the camp and had a few hours of sleep.
At the morning all the staff showed us the itinerary and the one I was excited for was the climbing the tallest mountain in British Columbia, The Big Chief.
The day finally arrived, they told us to bring some tennis shoes that had good grip so we can climb easily without slipping
and also bring something for keep us warm because the climate was going to be very cold.
So we started walking and we walked for like 15 minutes before we started climbing up some stairs, then we had to climb some rocks
after more than 45 minutes of trajectory we finally arrived at the peak which had an amazing view and I never imagined how beautiful it was.
Everyone was hanging out in the peak, taking photos and playing with some squirrels that were living there
we ate some lunch and relaxed for a minute before we descended the mountain, everyone had a great time
