S: College Days: September, 2005- April, 2011
I started my University experience at the University of Alberta. I had a great time meeting new people and hanging out with some old friends as well. The only downside was calculus... I still don't know how I passed!
from my year atUofA... | Julie and I took ballroom dancing lessons for a semester. This is us at the Christmas formal in Dinwoodie Lounge | I spent a lot of time inside Rutherford library, or right outside it on a sunny hill with friends. Sheila Ewanchuk and I had many good chats in this beautiful building.
My first year at UofA was also the first (and only) time that I had a house party while my parents were away.... | A good time had by all (even by some I didn't invite)... but I vowed never to drink Captain Morgans rum ever again...
After a summer of wandering across Canada with CREW ministries, I decided (with a little nudging from up above) that I would enroll in the Director of Parish Service Program at Concordia University College of Alberta | CREW Adventures!
Initium Sapientiae Timor Domini 'The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom' | Favorite Professors | Dr. Paul Schoepp taught me all of my parish service classes. He was also one of the first to welcome me to Concordia. Classes with him were always fun and challenging. | What can you say about Dr. Bill, aka Billy A? Classes were always halarious and his door was always open if you ever needed to talk. Favorite Prof ever. | Dr. Kraemer had a love for teaching that shone through in the classroom. He invited our class into his home numerous times (as did Bill and Paul) and was always ready with a friendly quip. | Dr. Adrian Leske got me through my first capstone course and for that he is a saint. A wonderful professor with a seemingly endless amount of knowledge to bestow. | Dr. Gereald Krispin was quite the character. He once removed flowers from some one's grave in Germany because Luther's grave did not have any. He taught me doctrine with conviction and challenged me in many ways. Lots of laughs in Krispins classes.
Ashley Hemming, Ashley Hemingway, Vincent Moore, and tMelissa Goldstone (eventually Melissa Moore) but at this point they weren't even dating
College Formals | Melissa and I barely knew each other in this picture.... | This was my first formal at Concordia and it was sooo much fun! Diana and I set each other up on blind dates and we all had a great time dancing.
Great formal night with the girls. Diana, Julie, Kaitlynn and I had an awesome time!
Diana getting ready to go out on my 19th birthday. Backcombing is a must! | Everyone ready to go celebrate my birthday at the Ranch!
The full time CREW team was able to come! Erica, Britt, and Ron, along with Leah | The Concordia Gang
There was rarely a time when I went to the bar without either Julie or Kaitlynn. We had as much fun (if not more) getting ready to go out and hanging out after we got back as we did actually being at the bar..
Kaitlynn and I wanted something to mix with our schmirnoff so we used her Grandmothers peach preserves... it was gross
My favorite bars to go to were: The Ranch, Suite 69, and Ezzies | Dan, Krysta, me, Kait and Kyle at the Ranch
This was a really fun night at Suite 69. Stacey and I united our friends for supper and then dancing. These pictures feature the survivors of the night; Kyle, Dan, Tyler, Ryan, myself and Stacey.
Mike and I on Canada Day | Kaitlynn and I at a piano bar | Diana, Kaitlynn and I going to Rascall Flatts | Heidi, Megan and I at Ezzies | Mel, Amanda and I at Krysta's wedding | Julie and I at the Mayfield
Keith Urban | Concerts | best concert ever
Rascal Flatts | with Taylor Swift
Julie and I waited in the rain to see Aaron Pritchett | Gord Bamford opened. Favorite song: "Blame it on that Red Dress"
In the midst of line dancing on the grass we ran into Heidi | Aaron Pritchett was awesome. Favorite song: "Hold my beer while I kiss your girlfriend"
Fun Times at School | The 2 Mikes outside of our drama classroom | Anne and Korean Kyle | Melissa and Trina
Drama 101 | It's Man Hands! Before we were the hands team :)
These pictures were taken after our final drama class. | We went to the local Legion to shoot some pool.
Most of our free time was spent in 'the caf'. where Kait and I would buy mass amounts of sour candies and chat with friends.
Weddings (because when you're in college long enough, your friends start getting hitched)
My friends loved this picture when it was posted on facebook... lots of comments about Nathan's creeper face and me destroying the picture
I was honored to stand up with my two friends Vince and Melissa as they became Mr. and Mrs. Moore in Campbell River
 Sherlock Holmes
Where everybody knows your name... | The night before Grad we all went to Sherlock Holmes to celebrate. We were well known here as we came quite often....
It was a great night filled with lots of laughs. Len and Judy (Vince's parents), Rod and Agnes (Melissa's parents), and my parents also came along. | T"onto.... jump on it"
 Graduation Day May 7th 2011
The beautiful roses from my Dad
Cheering Section | the speeches were pretty boring...
I would not have made it through college without the love and support of my family and friends
