26: Miss Julie's School of Dance Seasons of Dance Recital The girls loved ballet and after practicing all year they performed beautifully to Once Upon a December from the movie Anastasia.

29: We had lots of fun in school this year. Kale did many fun projects in Mrs. Muehlfeld's class and really enjoyed marble parties. The girls liked 1st grade with Mrs. Wolf and Mrs. Kimpel. Karissa liked doing their workshops. Chloe liked being Student of the Day.

30: We'd only had our new swingset for 6 days when Rissa jumped and broke her arm. It was in a splint for 5 days and a cast for 2 & half weeks. The purple cast didn't stop her much. She's so tough.

31: TU Girls Chicago Trip 2012 | Three days with the coolest girls. The first day we spent with our technology in the bathtub, enduring tornado sirens. Day 2, poor Nicole was sick but the rest of us went downtown for some FREE fun: free trolley, free ice cream (x2), free sightseeing! Girl time is always fun!

34: The girls had their first sleepover with their friend Holly. So much fun was had at the Stark's house. Playing, doing crafts, watching movies and eating popcorn (in bed). FUN!!!!!

38: Girl time in the city: Chicago fun with Mommy & Grandma

39: For the girls' 7th birthday, we spent 2 days exploring Chicago. We ate at Ed Debevick's, shopped at the Hello Kitty store and bought new dolls at American Girl Place. We also rode the ferris wheel at Navy Pier and spent time in the hotel pool. The next day we visited Millennium Park & Crowne Fountain, ate at Gino's East and played at the beach. We had fun exploring the city in the summertime. Happy 7th Birthday, Chloe & Karissa!

44: Assisi | Firenze | P i s a | Vatican | City | We spent 12 days with 15 students traveling through 14 different European cities, in 5 countries. This is a definite perk of my job. I love experiencing new cultures with my students and most of all my husband. Here's hoping we travel together for many years to many new places!

47: Our annual trip to visit the Junkers in Cadillac was later this year but did not disappoint. The fun started by celebrating birthdays. Although it was chilly we drove up to Traverse City for the day. We had a picnic and couldn't seem to keep the kids out of the water. When they finally got cold we went out for ice cream. It's always fun to hang out and relax together and, of course, take lots of pictures!

49: One boy soaked from the waves, two girls a little damp, and a mama in a sweatshirt; and yet we'll all go out for ice cream!

50: Tyler | A trip up north also includes visiting Cheri and the boys. This year we got to meet baby Tyler and play with Will at the park.

52: Family Time at Silver Beach | Our Red Flag Day at the Beach

53: We wanted to spend a day at the beach, so we packed up and headed to Lake Michigan. After eating our lunch, we set up on the beach and were ready to enjoy the water when the red flag went up, signaling riptides. We weren't allowed in the water all day. While we were all bummed, we managed to still have fun: in the sand, at the fountain, at the park walking the pier, watching the waves, and eating ice cream.

54: Kale, Drew & Carter

55: so fun watching the polar bear | koala bear | cheetah | flying foxes | red panda | Our mini-vacation took us to Columbus. We spent the day at the zoo and Jack's Landing, visited Ohio State, and went shopping.

56: Jungle River Falls | The weather wasn't warm enough to go to the water park but I told the kids we'd ride the boat ride before we left. The kids weren't tall enough to ride on their own and Keith had a headache so I had to ride with all three kids. First I rode with Kale and only got a little wet. Then I rode with Chloe and got drenched! Rissa stayed unhappily dry, since we realized she wouldn't like the drop.

58: A day at the Toledo Zoo with Taryn | We love our zoo! | The start of school was delayed a week so we had some more summer fun. We loved having Taryn with us for the day. Glad she's not too cool for us, now that she's a freshman

60: Enjoying some extra summer fun with the Starks, | We met up with Holly, Evan & Brayden at Buckner Park in Ft. Wayne.

68: School spirit week was so fun this year! We had hat day, crazy hair day and of course, maroon and gold madness day. | Everyone wore school colors and Daddy got taped to a wall by the Jr. High students. Mommy had fun helping!

69: GOAL! | Fall Soccer | Kale's love for soccer finally convinced us to let him play and he was pretty good. | He didn't have the best team but he had fun and scored his team's only goal of the season!

70: Oak Openings | A hot & long, fall hike at Oak Openings. There was lots of whining but we survived!

79: I hosted my first "House Party" that I won from Shutterfly. Kim & Megan both brought their girls, so the little girls had a party of their own; while I helped Mom and Tayrn make scrapbooks. | Clair, Karissa, Holly & Chloe had a fun tea party, played dress up, and played with their dolls

80: Operation Christmas Child | This year our boxes went to Cameroon, Africa

82: We took Grandma ice skating at Fallen Timbers and went to Olive Garden. | Happy Birthday, Grandma!

83: 'Tis the Season for Christmas programs | We had 2 shows to attend this year. Kale was an elf in A Pirate's Christmas. Chloe was a yellow jacket & Karissa was a glow worm in A Bug's Christmas.

84: We made a gingerbread village. Daddy won the award for the ugliest house. Lots of fun and creativity! | Kidstuff Girls

90: Family Is The Best Part Of Christmas

91: Merry Christmas! Christmas morning brought many awesome new gifts, including a Wii. But we also remember the most important gift given to us, baby Jesus!

96: new year | let's count down to the | 2012

97: This was our first New Year's Eve together due to the fact that Keith was sick. We made the most of it! Coloring the castle, playing games, apple nachos, playing Wii, reflecting on the 2011, toasting the New Year, and watching the ball drop. All the kids made it up till 2012 and then crashed.
