BC: We made lots of memories-- played Hand & Foot, Bananas, set in the sun----but most of all spent 7 days with my special sister & her husband., Thanks Willene & Ed.
FC: June 12 2011 Willene & Ed met us in San Juan. We cruised the Southern Caribbean.
1: Our 1st stop was St Thomas. We did some shopping. | . | The weather was beautiful | Ready to shop | All dressed up for dinner
2: St Kitts | We decided to take the Rain forest hike--it was supposed to be an easy hike!! We were the oldest people in the group. | We were to meet under the big tree | Getting our walking sticks----we needed them. | St Kitts
3: The trail was a challenge to us. We walked through streams, climbed rocks, walked on sandy slopes, and a steep trail. We were thankful for the young people that gave us a hand when we needed it. One of the young couples said they were jealous of us for making the trip at 75! It was fun. | way to go Willene & Ed! | We stopped to see a Batik demonstration---some beautiful clothing.
4: ARUBA | We rented a jeep and toured Aruba. | Wishing Rocks Garden | Willene standing in the jeep to take pictures., | The Natural Bridge--the half that didn't fall in | We drove all around the Island. We got lost in one of the little towns---of course Jerry wouldn't stop and ask the way!!

6: The jeep we had was an old clunker! It was so hard to get into the back seat. I finally decided to climb in through the window. | Willlene standing up through the jeep taking a pictured.
7: Pavel, head waiter | Serenade of The Seas | Simary was our assistant waiter | The dining room staff sang for us "Hey Look Me Over" | Jerry cheering the staff on. | Our wait staff took good care of us.
8: Curacao | The shopping area.
9: This was a beautiful Island. It was very clean. There were beautiful homes and hotels. We crossed on the Queen Emma a pontoon bridge that floats to the side so large ships could pass. We rode the Queen Julianna Bridge--the highest bridge in the Caribbean. | The Island was settled by the Dutch and had a large Jewish population. This was a Jewish cemetery.
10: San Juan | We took a cab to "Old San Juan." We toured The Castillo San Cristobal Fort | There were many beautiful arches and interesting doors. We looked across to the Castillo San Felipe del Morro'
