S: 2010-2011 Boyscout Pack 160 Highlights

FC: 2010 - 2011 Boyscout Pack 160 Highlights

Nick and Joshua were sorry when the Pack in Valley Springs did not stay together. We could tell that Scouting could be a lot of fun if things were going right.... | We were so fortunate to find Pack 160 and that we were able to join. During this school year, we have had a lot of fun, and great experiences....We have made lots of new friends, too!!

One of the first activities for Nicks Wolf Den was to tour the Methvin Recycling Center in Harrison

Pack Meetings are a lot of fun. We found out that there is one Pack meeting a month and all of the Dens gather in the large room for announcements, planning of events, and acheivement awards.

Nick is in the front row wearing the red Robot sweatshirt, and Josh is behind him to the left. Mr. Hamm is in the back. It was a gorgeous fall day, and all the boys had so much fun and were totally worn out by the evening.

In the fall Pack 160 was invited to the Hamm Ranch in Alpena to go horseback riding. What a fun day!!! | In the fall of 2010 Troop 160 was invited to the Hamm Ranch in Alpena to go horseback riding.

Josh crossed over to Webelos 2, and Nick crossed over to the Bear. Den. Both boys were pleased with their advancement, It was fun to hear about the day from the boys and Ben.

I was so sorry to have to miss Crossover, I had just had knee surgery. Ben took these pictures. It looks like it was an awesome day as the boys celebrated completion of one rank and the hope of new adventures in their new rank.

What a wonderfully fun DAY!! SO COOL!! We spent the day at the Pavillion behind the Catholic church, the view was clear and gorgeous. Grandma and Grandpa enjoyed sitting and watching the boys as well as the view. And, the surprise of the day was that Nick won first place over all!!

This is my favorite part of Scouting events...when the boys post the Colors!! Josh and Nick have both been involved in Flag Ceremonies... And thus began the Raingutter Regatta, at the Minnie Harris Park, hosted by the Troop from Marshall (can't remember their number)
