1: Liberty-Eylau 1974-1983 | Leopards
2: The Leopard Dad began his career at his high school alma mater under Athletic Director Paul Huddleston. He coached football & baseball and taught U.S. History. | Mom graduated from college and began her teaching career at LE Primary and Beech Street Preschool.
3: Julie was born in 1976 & attended LE from 1st-3rd grade. | Jennifer was born in 1979 & went to Beech Street through Kingergarten | Years

5: Dad coached with Ronnie Ingram and David Walls; we have remained lifelong friends with their families.

8: Pleasant Grove 1983-1990 | Hawks
10: While at "The Grove".... | These were some of our BEST years! | Dad coached football & baseball under Athletic Director Johnny Toombs who would remain a lifelong friend. He also taught U.S. History. | Mom taught Kindergarten at PG Elementary. She spent a lot of time taking her girls to their various activities and of course ......BALLGAMES!
11: Julie went to PG 4th - 8th grades. She took piano lessons and played volleyball. | Jennifer went to PG 1st - 5th grades. She took gymnastics and played softball.
12: 1986 | 1986 was the first graduating class from PG, and they had a very memorable baseball season!
13: Game Winning Homerun! | After we won the district championship, EVERYONE at the game went to the field house to watch dad shave off his mustache! Jen cried.
18: 1989 State Semi-Finalist
20: In 1989, in front of a packed crowd, the Hawks beat Linden-Kildare and made school history when we advanced to the State Baseball Tournament in Austin!
27: Every coach, coach's wife, and coach's kid knows that even though GREAT things must come to an end, there is always something better waiting around the corner. Our time at "The Grove" and in Texarkana was over; dad stepped out in faith and led us to our next adventure!!
28: Kilgore 1990-1991 | Bulldogs
29: While at Kilgore, dad coached football & baseball under athletic director, Jack Rushing and taught U.S. History. Mom taught Kindergarten at First Methodist Day School in Marshall. Julie was in the 9th grade at Hallsville High School, and Jen was in the 6th grade at Hallsville Middle School.
30: Hallsville 1991-2011 | Bobcats
31: Dad coached football, baseball, and golf under athletic directors Dwayne McMeans, Steve Gaddis, Roger Adams, and David Plunk. All of these men have become lifelong /forever friends.
32: These are the greatest times..... | 20 years of being a Bobcat!
33: Mom taught Kindergarten at Hallsville Primary from 1991 - 1993. She also worked for Heartlight Ministries during the Bobcat years. | Mom and Dad enjoyed Coaches Outreach and summer trips to Colorado with coaching friends!
34: Julie & Jennifer both graduated from HHS then Ouachita Baptist University and began their teaching careers. In 2006, Julie married Michael, and then in 2009, Jennifer married Dean. Jen & Dean also had their first child, Isaiah, dad's last year of coaching!
