My darling ever-loving Sam, Thank you ever so much for being such a wonderful, caring, loving and affectionate husband. Words cannot express how fortunate i consider myself for being your wife. Like i always tell you, I feel like we've met just yesterday. 38 years of knowing each other and being so much in love, always puts me on cloud nine. Not forgetting the hours you spent on the terrace or at the conference hall window, to get a glimpse of me. :-) You have always been and still are a wonderful 'Da to our two precious sons, they can vouch for that. I know God will bless you with the best of health and make all your dreams come true. Thank you ever so much for always being there for the three of us. Once again, to a Great Husband and an Awesome Friend, Yours forever, Binu.

Dearest Sam, Happy 60th Birthday! It seems like only yesterday, I saw you walk into the T.V room at the YMCA in your powder blue jeans and lemon t-shirt looking 'Hip' for your intended (my sis Bina) Jokes aside Sam, you are my 'Pillar of Strength'. Thank you for always being there for us. 'You' are an exceptional Husband and Father.. Kudos to you! Wishing you Happiness and Good Health always. Lots of Love and 'Sweet Kisses'. - Nita | My Dearest Sam, Happy Birthday to you on this very special day. You are more than a Son-in-law, you have been our 'Rock of Gibraltar'. Dear son, your love, sweetness, kindness and thoughtfulness are things that I love and cherish the most about you. You have always been an inspiration to each one of us. This comes with all my love and blessings for a wonderful, healthy and happy life. God bless you with love always. - Mummy

SAM TO ME, THE TRANSITION FROM SAM 'UNCLE' (OF THE YMCA DAYS) TO THE PRESENT 'SAMSI' WAS SMOOTH. HAVING KNOWN SAMSI, FROM THE AGE OF 12, YOU WERE ALWAYS A PILLAR OF STRENGTH, SILENTLY INVOLVED IN EVERY STEP OF MY LIFE. MEMORY SPANS OF YOU PATIENTLY COMPLYING TO MY FREQUENT REQUESTS OF DOING UP MY SCHOOL TIE, TO MY PERSISTENT DEMANDS FOR GIFTS AND DINKY CARS., TO A SUCCESSFUL CAREER AT ALMANA'S. THE LIST OF YOUR INFLUENCE IN ALL OUR LIVES STILL CONTINUES! THANK YOU FOR BEING MY BROTHER -IN-LAW AND PART OF OUR FAMILY. LOTS OF LOVE, SUNIL. Samochen. Well-mannered, polite and the perfect gentleman! Always there with wise observations and strong family values that naturally transcends towards us your family. A bounty of pleasant moments from your visit to our Kolkotta home, to the present. Sunil and I are honoured to have you in our lives. Thank you for being there for us. With warm and best wishes. Love, Tessa.

Happy Birthday to the best brother-in-law. It is hard to put into words the things I want to say to tell you how special you are to me. Your loving, caring and thoughtful ways have a special place in my heart. You have a big heart, are quick to forgive and always saying things that makes one's heart lighter. You were a source of strength when I was in Saudi. I will never forget how you went out of your way to make me comfortable. When i needed advice all I had to do was give you a call and you addressed my concerns. On your birthday, I thank the Man above for the blessing he has given me for having you as my brother-in-law. I have to add your dancing has always inspired me :-) Love & Hugs Preethi | Happy Birthday Sam! You are one-of-a-kind!! In a class all by yourself. I am proud of you. "Happy Shastipurthi" - Love, Vijay. P.s. I am told you dance like Micheal Jackson. Have to see it to believe.

Dear Da, I tend to wonder how my life is going to be sometimes. Whether I will make the right decisions or not, be able to take care of my family or not, and thats when you're words always come back to me, "There is a plan for you Son..", off late thats been an idea I have started warming upto :-). I am very proud to say I have parents like you'll. I feel even more proud when so many people tell me that in so many ways I am JUST LIKE my Dad, which is when Ma very readily intevenes with a, "NO! This Thendi is Not!" :-). I wouldnt change anything about my life, cuz I realise now, it has all been for a purpose and will continue to be. I just hope I can be the Dad you were to me. I Love You Both..Will Always do.. Forever! You're My Rock Stars!!

Dearest Da, I cannot sum up 33 years of love, care and kindness into words. It would be comparable to describing a sunset to a blind man. There are no words for it. There is just me, a poor reflection of the values and virtues you have lived by all your life. It is with your teachings, advice and blessings I weather storms and overcome my every failing. It is your love and patience in me that has taught me to reciprocate the same to others. All my successes are yours and I pray I always prove to be a worthy legacy. With all the love in my heart. Your son. Sushil.

Our Father Is our childhood, teens & adulthood He is every book we've every read And ever moral understood He is the reason for our religion Why Psalms once taught are still spoken with precision And when the Heavens decide to conspire What would make lesser men perspire Only inspires faith in our father Our Father On sunny days is the shadow we find shade in He is the optimism that keeps invadin’ Our Hopeless Mondays and Give-up Tuesdays Our Father Is quiet words of advice and shouts of reassurance When all else fails he is our insurance And his best interests are always interest free Our Father Is sometimes prone to exaggeration Which quickly leads to bouts of aggravation Should you be foolish enough to point it out And on days when he been feuding You will probably catch him brooding But its nothing an apology and a hug can’t fix Our Father Are the big shoes we are still filling The ever-rising high ceiling Of expectations we have yet to meet And on days when life has us beat He’ll dust us off, help us on our feet And say, “Keep Walking.”
