FC: Let's Learn The Months of the Year | By Lesley Ann Jones

1: Let's learn together the months of the year. Each month has special times that bring us cheer. Holidays, festivals, birthdays and more. I love all the memories, each year has in store.

2: Is this first month. It’is usually very cold outside. Sometimes it snows. Starts off the New Year for our family. Martin Luther King Day We eat soup to warm us up | JANUARY

3: Is the second month. Presidents Day Valentines Day and we make cards for our friends. Mommys Birthday Rodeo time starts up with the cowboys and cowgirls. | FEBRUARY

4: Is the third month. Starts off windy and ends up very nice and sunny. St. Patricks Day! Spring time begins.! | MARCH

5: Is the fourth month. We usually plant our garden now. We start wearing our summer clothes. April showers bring May flowers. Easter is sometimes in April. | APRIL

6: Is the fifth month. Memorial Day Daddy & Mommy got married this month many years ago! Mothers Day | MAY

7: Is the sixth month. Fathers Day Summertime has begun We eat sweet watermelon and see how far we can spit the seeds Flag Day | JUNE

8: Is the seventh month. Independence Day and fireworks We grill hot dogs and hamburgers outside. Lots of zoo and museum visits with Daddy on summer .vacation | JULY

9: Is the eighth month. We visit the beach. Very hot and sunny weather. Summer is ending and we start to buy school supplies Band Camp starts for Daddy | AUGUST

10: Is the ninth month. The leaves are starting to turn to fall colors. Sometimes we go camping. Football games begin. School starts soon! Labor Day | SEPTEMBER

11: Is the tenth month. We see lots of pumpkins. We go to Fall Festivals. Halloween time for trick-or-treating. We start wearing clothes to keep us warm. | OCTOBER

12: Is the eleventh month. Thanksgiving We get colder weather and play outside in the leaves. Daddy's Birthday is in this month. Football games start to come to an end | NOVEMBER

13: Is the twelfth and last month. Christmas We make fires in the fireplace to get warm. Sometimes we see ice outdoors. We bake cookies for Christmas | DECEMBER

15: So now we've learned the months of the year...let's shout them all out in a cheer! | JANUARY! FEBRUARY! MARCH! APRIL! MAY! JUNE! JULY! AUGUST! SEPTEMBER! OCTOBER! NOVEMBER! DECEMBER! | Now that you know them, share this with your friends! And you can learn your months, all over again
