BC: For My Family - Created by Kim

We went to Disney World July 12th -18th 2010 on an Edward Jones trip. We stayed at the Disney Boardwalk Inn which was a big and beautiful hotel. The first thing the kids wanted to do was to go swimming at the pool and then later on we just walked around to see everything.

On our first night in Disney World we had a welcome supper that included tattoo and balloon artists and our surprise guests Mickey and Minnie Mouse.

It was so much fun to see Mickey and Minnie Mouse

The first park we went to was Hollywood Studios. Some of the shows we saw were Muppet Vision 3-D, The Great Movie Ride, Voyage of the Little Mermaid and the Stunt Show. Later that night we went back and rode on Toy Story Mania and went to the show Fantasmic.! | HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS

The second park we went to was Animal Kingdom. It was fun to see all the animals on the Kilimanjaro Safari. Some of the rides and shows we enjoyed were Kali River Rapids, which we got soaked on, but was a lot of fun. Dinosaur was a fun and scary ride. Triceratops spin was a fun little kid ride and Finding Nemo the musical was a really great show. It's tough to be a bug was another fun 3-D show that we really enjoyed. While we were walking around we saw flik and were able to get our picture taken with him. | KINGDOM

Sights around the Boardwalk Inn at night

Epcot was planned for the third day. Our favorite ride here was Test Track. We also went on the ride Soarin and went to the shows The Seas with Nemo and Friends and Turtle talk with Crush | EPCOT

Thursday afternoon when we finished at Epcot we told the kids we had a big surprise for them. We had to pack a suitcase because somebody was coming to pick us up to take us somewhere. Our ride arrived at the Hotel at 4:00 and took us to Magic Kingdom to stay in the Cinderella Suite in Cinderella's Castle. The kids and Mom and Dad were very excited. Disney World offered the room to one lucky family that was on the Edward Jones trip and they picked us since the night they were giving the room away was the same night as Brooke's 6th Birthday. We had our own personal tour guides that took us to our room and said all we needed to do was call them and they would come and take us where ever we wanted to go and that we would be first in line for all the rides. It had started pouring rain when we first got there, but once we were ready to start going on rides the rain let up and it ended up being a perfect night. Some of the shows and rides we went on were Mickeys Philhar Magic, Peter Pans flight, Snow Whites Scary Adventure, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Prince Charming Regal Carousal, Dumbo Elephant, Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, Stitches Great Escape, Haunted Mansion and our two favorite rides were Big Thunder Mountain and Space Mountain. We were so glad the tour guides talked us into going on them. To top the night off we watched the fireworks and got to sit in VIP for the Electrical Parade. We went back to our suite and took a jacuzzi tub and relaxed and enjoyed the awesome cupcakes we got for Brooke's Birthday. This is a Birthday Brooke will never forget.

Arriving at Cinderella's Suite. When we arrived there they had a glass slipper waiting for us with our name and date engraved on it. | Cinderella's Suite

Enjoying some rides at Magic Kingdom

Cinderella's castle changed colors at night.

These are pictures that we took of the Electrical Parade. It was at 11:00 at night. The pictures really don't show you how amazing it really was. We had VIP seating for the parade and a lot of the characters would come up to us and say hi and wave to us.

We were treated like royalty inside Cinderella's Suite. When we returned from our night at Magic Kingdom they had fresh flowers throughout. A horse and carriage carved out of chocolate with chocolate covered strawberries inside and awesome cupcakes. Plus a stuffed Minnie and Mickie Mouse for each of the kids. It was amazing.

Getting ready to have pictures taken with Cinderella and have breakfast at Cinderella's Royal table

We had our picture taken with Cinderella and then while we were having breakfast we met and took pictures with Snow White, Belle, Ariel and Aurora

It was fun going to Mickey's Toontown and see Mickey and Minnies Houses and getting pictures taken with them.

Typhoon Lagoon was the water park that we went to. It had a fun wave pool.

 Fun at the Hotel pool

 Trip of a Lifetime
