FC: Elanor's story an American girl in Hitlers Germany Photo Story

in the story one of the biggest factors was Hitler.Without Hitlers influence of starting world war 2 the whole story wouldn't happen. and this mix book would not be here. So if you think about it Hitler made this story happen.

When Berlin was bombed it made a major impact in the book because lot of the characters were in Berlin during that time were killed or extremely hurt. the bombing of Berlin yanked Elanor's normalcy away.the bombings in the book couldn't be replicated in words

Hitler youth was a major role in the story because of if she wasn't in Hitler youth she wouldn't have met the people she did. In the beginning of the book she really wanted to be in Hitler youth but being in Hitler youth was a bad decision. To Elanor it looked like the girl scouts, but it is not even close

This photo is one of the most important things in the book because without this photo Elanor would have had no one to talk to and she would be upset a lot and thats not good. She talked to this painting a lot and told it her problems and stories of things. the painting is very influential. At the end of the story sadly she looses the photo and became really sad.to Elanor the photo had a gigantic sentimental value.

Amazingly a orange was a major factor in the story because after the war was over the first good meal was actually a orange and without that orange one of the little children would have died of malnutrition. The orange was given to her by an American solder. The orange meant a lot to her family.

the most important thing in the book was America because it was Elanor's home country it gave her the will to want to survive so she one day could go home. without America's influence she might have died. In a way one of her own kind saved her and her family with a orange.
