2: The Pregnancy Story To fully understand the wonders of this pregnancy I have to go back a few months . . . The summer of 2010 was a busy one! Your mom and dad were finishing the details for their September 18th wedding. Over the summer mom had gone to the doctors for a routine check up. She was told she had abnormal cells that needed to be further checked. This wasn't too terrifying for mom because she had to have this done before. The results for the abnormal cells came back just 2 weeks before our wedding. Mom had CIN Level 3 Cervical Dysplasia, this meant she would have to have a procedure to remove these cells. Because of the wedding, we decided to wait till October 15th to have the cells removed. Everything went well with the procedure and before we knew it it was the end of November. Mom started thinking some hormones had been messed up due to the procedure and she needed to call the doctor. She took a test to confirm that she wasn't pregnant before she called the doctor. To her surprise two lines showed up. Mom thought it was a false negative and when dad got home they ran to the store to pick up another test. Two more home test were taken and two lines showed up on all of them. We called the doctors office and scheduled an appointment to come in and test in the office. On December 2nd, 2010 it was official - We were pregnant! At the doctors office the nurse started questioning us about the pregnancy. She wanted to know how far along I thought I was. Because of the procedure I had in October, I had to only be a few weeks along or else I would have been pregnant during that procedure (which would not have been good!). The nurse gave us a weird look and said the results came up fast and strong, making her think I was further along then 2 weeks. On December 15th we went in for our first sonogram to see how far a long we were. To our surprise, we were 11 weeks and 5 days along. This was only the beginning of many surprises.

10: The Labor and Delivery On May 28th, 2011 mom woke up at 4 in the morning to use the restroom and found that her shorts were really wet. She woke dad up and we spent an hour trying to decide if her water broke. We weren't sure if the amount of water was enough to count as water breaking. Eventually we decided to go to the hospital, we didn't want to take any chances since mom's stitch was still in place and we were only 35 weeks along! Once we were at the hospital several test were done to determine if my water had broken. The test came back inconclusive! Dr. Sanchez (who was not mom's regular doctor) wanted mom to stay in the hospital over night just to be safe. We were really upset because the whole Klavano family was in town for our baby shower we were suppose to have that evening. We had to cancel the party. After an entire day of laying around in the hospital bed, mom was a little restless. She decided to stand up, stretch a little and use the restroom. When she stood up more water started coming out. Dad went to get the nurse and she did another test on the fluid. This time the test came back positive, the fluid was amniotic fluid and there was a rupture in my water sac. My cerclage stitch had to come out right away. Things started to move very fast. Mom was given and epidural to help with the removal of the stitch. When the stitch was removed I was 2cm dilated and 70% effaced. We tried to sleep through the night but we were too excited. Mom was checked again at 3 in the morning on May 29th, completely effaced and 3cm dilated. To help move the labor along, mom was given some medicine. When checked again at 8 am, mom was now 9cm dilated. We made the phone calls to make sure everyone was there. About an hour later mom felt a new type of pressure and she knew it was time! The nurses rushed around to make sure everything was in place and the grandparents rushed out of the room. Aunt Kristin and Dad were the only two people allowed in the room with mom and the doctors. By 9:47 am our little Easton Bradley Amador had arrived.

14: Choosing your name | We had thought of many different name. Mom knew she wanted something unique but not weird. Mom read a list of unusual baby names. We came across the name Easton and both really liked it. Because dad played baseball, loves baseball, and coaches baseball, we thought it would be a little corny if we named you Easton because of the baseball company. We put the name on the back burner. Just a few weeks before you were born we came back to the name. We both decided it was our favorite and we were going to name you Easton! Your middle name was chosen for you in honor of your Grandpa Klavano.
