Along with Play dates, accidents (Carl), Lap top breaking, Landlords breaking in, Bonding with the other Au Pairs, kids and getting used to the City. The major highlight would of course be hearing Tonzie say my name for the first time. Also a trip to the Bremen museum and Carnival. | Februar

I had a few of the wildest nights I've ever had in Berlin all due to my amazing hostel Wombats! The month also included; a day trip to Jakob's family villa, which was amazing! My Birthday in Wangerooge, play dates and many nights spent at the Irish pub including "the night Sam's shoe broke". The kids started school again and of course on the 23rd the lovely Laura Aho arrived!
40: My 19th Birthday was great, although it was probably one of the worst homesick filled days I had . Sam had just arrived in Germany and hopped on a train to come to Oldenburg to spend the weekend with me. Judith and Jakob took us all to Wangerooge for the day which was very nice of them. We arrived back in Oldenburg a little late but just in time to run over to Sam T's house for gifts and cake which she had secretly arranged-then off to the Irish Pub we went

On the way back to Oldenburg we stopped to visit a friend of Laura's from Minnesota.
