2: Sarah Brooks is snowed in...again! How many blizzards are we gonna get this year? Gordon Brooks is looking forward to getting home from Florida tonight, but with 12 inches of snow in Rapid, it might not happen. [Gordon traveled to Tampa several times this year for work, a job working with a medical academy there through his college here. His job will be transitioning in 2010 to online curriculum development rather than student services.] Sarah Brooks is looking forward to my trip to Denver for MOPS training this weekend! [Ive been involved in Mothers of Preschoolers for 6 years now and am working again this year as a special events coordinator] Gordon Brooks is glad Sarah is home from Denver! My girls are sweet and fun, but three of them is a handful for one person. Much props to my wife - you're awesome!!! Sarah Brooks is expecting baby #4 in January. I know...you thought we were done. So did we. Just one of those times when God's plans are better than our plans :) Sarah Brooks is packing and packing and packing some more. Man, we have a lot of stuff! Gotta be moved out by Saturday. Anyone want to help us move? Sarah Brooks You know life is too busy when you both forget it's your anniversary until you write the date on something. It's been 8 years today! I guess we're celebrating this year with a new house. [Yep, we bought our first house this year] Sarah Brooks Carpets cleaned, five rooms painted-one to go! Then we're in! Gordon Brooks is wore out! Sarah Brooks is wishing someone else would finish unpacking for me. Sarah Brooks watched Abby wiggle her first tooth out last night. She was so proud! [Abby turned 6 this year and seems to be growing up too fast] Sarah Brooks is headed to buy Abby and Maddy their new ballet and tap shoes today. Why do their feet have to grow so fast? [The girls love their dance classes and Kaity is anxious to follow in their footsteps]

3: Sarah Brooks is happy our first day of school went well for us today. We'll see if the girls are still begging for more school time in a few weeks. [We began our 2nd year of homeschooling with Abby in 1st grade and Maddy doing preschool and its gone very well, even joined a co-op this year with 80 other families which was a lot of fun] Sarah Brooks has the big ultrasound on Monday...could it be a boy this time? We'll see... Gordon Brooks "4 weddings and a funeral anyone"? We found out today that # 4 will be another girl. I guess I’m just meant to be surrounded by beautful women the rest of my life! Sarah Brooks is planning our family trip to Denver in October. What should we do while we’re there? Gordon Brooks Had a great time in Denver this week! But now I need a vacation from my vacation! Sarah Brooks Me: “Jesus helps us do all kinds of things.” Maddy: “Jesus helps me limbo!” You gotta laugh! [Maddy is always saying the funniest things.] Sarah Brooks is laughing at my 2-yr-old who refuses to keep her clothes on today, but that’s no different than any other day, really. [Kaity only wears tutus or swimsuits while in the house, and always with ballet shoes] Sarah Brooks helped Abby mummify a teddybear today. Complete with authentic ancient Egyptian funeral procession in a laundry basket sarcophagus to the tomb. Homeschool is fun! Gordon Brooks is thankful for the three little dancing girls in his living room. So cute! Sarah Brooks Maddy: “Why do you and Daddy kiss so much? Yuck!” Sarah Brooks thinks the novelty of potty training definitely wears off by the third child. [It might be a while before we cross this threshhold with Kaity] Sarah Brooks Tonight Maddy sang all 66 books of the Bible. Pretty imipressive for a 4-year-old. [She learned them from her big sister] Sarah Brooks loves Christmas time. Gordon Brooks wishes everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

15: We special ordered this couch with custom upholstery and were looking forward to getting it in our new house when we realized we didn't have enough money left to pay for it without taking out most of our savings. We were considering canceling the order and losing our down payment, but decided to just use our savings and trust that God would provide. So Sarah went to pay for the couch and the lady at the furniture store said we didn't owe anything. Someone had anonymously paid $1300 for our couch! What an amazing blessing.
