S: Fifty to One by Vada Dolph

BC: Fifty to One (50-1) Fifty Original Cloth Figures Designed and Handmade by Vada Dolph Fifty little jockeys, one big project. Designed and hand made by one, for one special order, each now in the private custody of fifty different racehorse owners. No one has more than one. This book contains some of the snapshots taken during their creation. Fifty jockeys, all suited up and ready, waiting to see who will be chosen as the right 'fit' for today's runner.

FC: Fifty to One (50-1) Fifty Original Cloth Figures Designed and Handmade by Vada Dolph

1: These 50 little jockey figures were created in 2005 and 2006 as a special order, in the colors (silks) of Team Valor International racing stable, and all are in the private collections of Team Valor syndicate partners. | Fifty to One by Vada Dolph | Though cut from the same pattern, each is as unique as the athletes they represent. Any resemblance to the 'real jockeys' is strictly co-incidental. Mrs. Owner (left), from an original design by Jill Maas, inspired my redesign of the body, to create these all-cloth 13 inch figures. They were signed, numbered, dated, and named. The photos are 'snapshots' taken during the process, missing a few individual 'portraits'. Some may even have switched identity, a fact only apparent to the owners. It was a massive project, very rewarding, but it's at least 50 to 1 the effort will not be repeated. Riders up! ~~Vada Dolph | Mr. and Mrs. T. B. Owner | The Athletes
