My water broke around 9:00 that night sitting at our friends' kitchen table. The contractions started a couple of hours after we arrived at the hospital. I went ahead and got an epidural after a few hours of intense contractions and was so glad I did! I was able to experience everything that was going on without the pain! You grandma Ruth watched on Skype as you arrived after about 15 min of pushing. Best day of my life so far...
Grandma Ruth came down to visit for a few days after you were born. You were a pretty easy newborn except that you liked to eat! I had to work on holding you off on your meals so you wouldn't snack too often. You slept in a bassinet in our room.

The New Orleans trip with SK was a trip to remember. Between not having any place to feed you, the temp being near 100 with 99% humidity, your diaper blowing out on a shuttle bus, hauling you and 3 bags around town by myself, having no money for a day and no change of clothes for you and the air conditioner on the bus blowing out on the way back; it went down as a VERY interesting adventure in my book.
Good times on the bus with Dad and Jordan...and yes, that was your bed for the first few trips on the bus.
We got to see friends and family at a Shaumberg, IL show | Of course we had to see Grandpa Mark during the Midwest run as well

We had such a great time our first day in New York City. We saw Times Square right away and ate pizza for lunch near Broadway. We spent most of the day in Central Park and then stopped for refreshments at a little Mediterranean restaurant and ate dinner across the street at a pita place. All of it was either relaxing or delicious or both once we got the bus from Jersey figured out. You were such a good little traveler.
It included Ground Zero, battery Park, the Staten Island Ferry, the Brooklyn Bridge, Indian Cuisine, little Italy, gelato, China town | and a stop at a park to play (and for a wardrobe change:) | We had an eventful second day in the city...
 The Brooklyn Bridge
