S: FRANCE AND SCOTLAND 2011

1: Grandmom Faith and Erin arrived in Paris tired, excited and ready to conquer the city. Our 5 week journey is just beginning. Started the week with a boat trip on the Seine.

2: We shopped for dinner at our neighborhood market street. We then took a walk through the Latin Quarter, starting at Musee Cluny,walked down St. Michel to the Sorbonne. We ended our walk at the beautiful Luxembourg Jardin.

23: Lovely Apartment in Cavaillon. Easy access to tour Provence Villages.

25: Walk about Vieux Cavaillon A Cloister Cathedral Saint-Veran

27: Isle de Sorgue Sunday is Market Day Very large, entire town Antiques and other wares

28: Gordes is very beautiful!

31: Another charming village in Provence Bonnieux

33: Arrival in Scotland 3 nights in Edinburgh 1 night Bonar Bridge 4 nights Isle of Lewis 2 nights Isle of Skye 2 nights Glasgow 3 nights Doune

36: To Bonar Bridge for 1 night Erin competed in a Mod at a local school Grandmom Faith explored Bonar Bridge on foot. Beautiful scenery.

37: Isle of Lewis Erin was hosted by a Gaelic Family. Grandmom Faith stayed in a local B and B.

39: Erin and Grandmom Faith were taken on a personal tour of the Isle of Lewis. Very enjoyable day.

40: The Black House and fun with new friends. Isle of Lewis

43: On to Isle of Skye. Beautiful, peaceful Isle. Lots of nature walks.

44: Clan Donald

46: Erin competed at the Bearsdon Games. 1st place in Seann Triubbas and 3rd Barracks

47: Time was of the essence in Glasgow however we did have a 1/2 day to walk about University of Glasgow.

48: The last few days of the trip we visited with the Park Family in Doune. Overall a very lovely visit.

49: We were invited for Tea at Betty's who lives in a lovely renovated church.

51: Stirling Castle with Charles and Richard

52: More Stirling Castle with Charles and Richard

54: Day Trip to Saint Andrews

57: To End the trip, we toured Edinburgh University. Returned to USA to share many happy memories of our trip
