41: Hi Amy, I just wanted to send you a quick note thanking you, Coach Henderson and the entire G Camp Coaching Staff for putting on a such a FANTASTIC Football Camp !!! Sal and Anthony are having a BLAST !!! They've attended many Camps and without a doubt G Camp is the ABSOLUTE VERY BEST!!! Grace Brethren is VERY fortunate to have such an INCREDIBLE Coach, as Coach Henderson. I see lots of Championships in Grace Brethrens future !!! Thank you VERY MUCH once again and CONGRATULATIONS on running such a PHENOMENAL Football Camp !!! -Bob Froio As we say in Hawaii, mahalo nui loa, which is loosely translated as thank you very much for all your hard work and dedication to the camp. My son, Kohl, was totally overwhelmed on Monday and Coach Henderson and his staff convinced my son to return to camp for the rest of the week, and to date he is really enjoying himself. The hard work and the hot weather make it difficult for him at times, but I think God is using you all to develop these boys into strong young men who will learn the value of teamwork, perseverance determination and strength of character. Plus make a few new friends along the way :) Have a wonderful rest of the week and God bless you all for your dedication to our youth! -Terri Cano and family I wanted to give special kudos to all the young coaches. My mom was very impressed (hard to impress grandma these days) with how they interacted with all the boys. Their manners and positive attitude make them great role models. I wish there was more of them in our community. If given the opportunity please express our appreciation. Thank you for a great week and all the hard work. We are looking forward to the next 2 weeks. -Carla Powers Thanks for the amazing job all of you are doing with the boys. This has been such a wonderful experience and the boys are really enjoying it! -Ahlers Family Hi Josh and Amy, Wendy and I have seen such a different side of LT it's a crack up. He walks around picking up heavy things for his mom and says look at my guns! Thanks for doing such a great job with these kids.. Luke wishes he had signed up for the full 3 weeks.. THATS AWESOME! -John Thompson

42: Feedback Continued Hi Coach Henderson and Amy. Thank you so much for all you are both doing for the boys of Simi Valley. To say Justin is loving his experience is an understatement. Joey truly enjoyed his day at camp today as well. Thank you again for all you have done to make these camps such a success. You have wonderful, loving hearts for these boys and the Lord and it shows through you hard work (both of you). -Debbie Nelson I have been meaning to email you to let you know how impressed I am with the camp this year. My favorite John Wooden quote is ~ “Sports do not build character. They reveal it.” I believe that is the essence of camp G. Proving successful athletes, leaders and role models to interact with the boys is an incredible experience which creates a great amount of inspiration and motivation. The coaches that work with the kids are all encouraging and energetic. The kids are taught skills which they aren’t exposed to in other organizations. Hunter has come home each day expressing how much he likes camp. I also know it made him feel proud each time he received player of the day. I wish the camp was all summer, spring and winter break. Thanks for everything! -Bari Schmidt Thank You! A Big Thanks those who generously built the foundation that made the camp a enormous success... Some, but not all of the Volunteers... All the amazing Assistant Coaches Coach Gourley Pastor Danny from Grace Brethren The defensive line coach from Azusa Pacific University Scott Thomas (APU National Champion, former DB for NFL Colts) Matt Gee (USC, former Raiders linebacker) Tom Costello (UTEP, played against Brett Favre) Chad Kackert (Grace Brethren alumni, currently on Jacksonville Jaguars)
