FC: The Baldwin Family in The Galapagos
I trust and believe that the time spent in this voyage will produce its full worth in Natural History; and it appears to me the doing what little one can to increase the general stock of knowledge is as respectable an object of life, as one can in any likelihood pursue. ~~Charles Darwin
The Baldwin family left for the Galapagos with little real idea of what was in store for them. All in all it was a great trip that everyone enjoyed. Enclosed within these pages are some of the better -- or at least funniest -- moments of the trip. These moments frozen in time can be shared and remembered as the years pass and allow us to always be thankful for each other.
The wildlife was astonishing in its variety and its adaptations
Though perhaps they've adapted too well to man.
The blue footed boobies and birds were quite a sight to see. Though
"We must always have old memories and young hopes." ~~Arsene Houssaye
The Blue Footed boobies and albatross were amazing to watch
But our brother the boob was the funniest
All things grow better with love.
To see a world in a grain of sand, and heaven in a wild flower Hold infinity in the palm of your hand, and eternity in an hour ~~William Blake
