What caused the Great Depression? | There were a number of contributing factors that caused the Great Depression including: Unequal distribution of wealth, high tariffs and war debts, over production in industry and agriculture. But the biggest cause of the Great Depression happened on a black Friday in October 1929, the stock market crashed.

2: 2.) How long did the Great Depression last? | -- From 1930 to 1939

3: The trading floor right after the stock market crashed.

14: 3.) What was life like during the Great Depression? | -- It was very hard to live in the Great Depression. About 15 million people were jobless and there was widespread hunger and poverty.

16: 4.) Who was effected during the Great Depression? | -- In a way, everyone was effected. Banks, high and low class people, everyone. Some people were effected worse than others, because of how much money they had before the depression.

20: 5.) How did the Great Depression end? | - The depression ended in December 1941, the same time we went to WWII
