S: Hallie's 75th Birthday
FC: Hallie McCarter
 75 Years Young...
When a Mother as wonderful as ours, has a birthday as important as this...75...you MUST celebrate! And celebrate we did. We took our wonderful, Godly Mother/Grandmother/Great Grandmother on a 'Girlfriends Getaway'. We all had matching shirts and hats that would sparkle in any light. Everyone we passed would ask us about our shirts and hats. I do believe that everyone in Fredericksburg Texas now knows my Mother has turned 75! This historic town located in Texas Hill Country offers shopping on the "Magic Mile". Shops, boutiques, art, jewelry, antiques, gourmet chocolate, specialty foods, bakeries, coffee shops we hit them all!! The town was also covered from end to end in beautiful Christmas displays. Our Mother deserves this..and so much more. Mom, we love you!
Planning Our Trip... So much to do, So little time! | At the Hampton Inn located in the heart of downtown Fredericksburg.
Our first night in Fredericksburg we ate at a restaurant named "The Auslander". It was a wonderful restaurant, that served fine German cuisine. We walked right in, and didn't have to wait for a table at all. | Deb came all the way from Lubbock | Brandi came from Ft. Worth, Diane came from Plano...
Friday morning breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. Today we wore our brown "Hallie" shirts. Of course, we all wore our sparkling hats! We were looking forward to spending the day with our Mom and Grandma. Notice how warm we were dressed? It was freezing outside!!
Off to shop downtown Main Street. We walked our legs off, and saw lots of wonderful things. Here we visited a shop with all types of spices, mixes, and sauces. We tasted all we could!! Yummy!
Our legs could not hold out any longer...and our tummies were talking to us too. We decided to stop for lunch at a Mexican Restaurant. The food was very good...but Mom wasn't too pleased to wear the hat, and have "Happy Birthday" sang to her. Doesn't she look Cute!!
Dawn and Erica finally arrived! We rested at the hotel for a while, then decided to eat Italian Food. However, the place was too full, so we walked two blocks to the Auslander restaurant, the same one that we had eaten at the night before. Boy was it cold outside!! This time we had to wait about 30 minutes for a table. This is one BUSY town!
 The Gang's All Here...
 Time for a facial!
Country Peddler's Show... Most of us found something good to see and eat on this trip!
A quick trip to Comfort Texas. Antiques, collectibles and crafts...such a cute place! They have really good chocolate there too. The ginger bread houses and the town was priceless!
Waiting outside for a table at the Tea Room. Brooke gets cozy with a nice scarecrow man. | Our Birthday Gal.... | Notice our "red" Hallie shirts?
The Front Street Tea Room Comfort, Texas | Chicken salad and hot tea...Yummy. A good time was had by all.
Hallie with Granddaughter #1 and #2 | Shopping the Tea Room | Brandi, Hallie & Erica
