This was the Claude Berry farm when Mom and Dad moved here in 1962 and raised us 4 girls. I have lots of memories of this farm. We moved here in 1981 and raised our family. You have worked hard fixing windows, roof, building garage, entryway, remodeling the kitchen and bathroom, then after 30 years we finally got the family room to the North. You did a fantastic job and I love you for it. Happy Father's Day. Love you lots, Pam
The big tree in the front yard was always the one to climb. The back step was a place to sit and play with the kittens in the warm sun. Mom and Dad pse for a photo.
Our back door in the open air. Doug busy working with the hogs. Our dog Cinderella in the background. Bryan with his snowman on the wood deck.
Mom and Me playing with the kittens and Tippy our dog.
Our fron door way faced the South that went out to our unattached garage. | Bryan, Renee and Samantha had fun on the big snow drift playing with our 7 black lab pups. | Dad worked for the Standard Oil company hauling gas to the farmers in the area. His brother Richard McDaniel owned the Standard Gas Station in Peterson. Team work!!
We moved here to Rural Route #1 North of Peterson in the summer of 1981 after working for Dick and Mary Freeman and living South of the Children's home, South of Peterson. This was mom and dad's house and you worked for dad raising hogs, cattle and farming the fields raising corn and beans. Most of our years have been spent remodeling or adding onto the house. A lot of work has gone into this farmstead. This book reflects most of your hard work. We have the most fun when we are working on some kind of project. Enjoy!. Love, Pam
