1: Hawaii | Kamaole Sands Kihei, Maui
2: Kamaole Sands Maui Condo View from Larry & Kim's Condo | Kihei Maui Hawaii | Right across from Kamaole Beach Park #3 | Had a 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom loft condo with a full kitchen that we rented for the week.
3: Kamaole Sands is a beautiful condominium resort abundantly full of native flowering shrubs and trees. There were water fountains with changing colored lights. There were 2 swimming pools and several hot tubs/jacuzzi and several BBQ's for guest use.
4: Inside Larry & Kim's Condo: Selena & Christian had the loft bedroom with 2 twin beds complete with their own bathroom. Dakota loved the spiral staircase. However, Mom and Dad did not - Dakota scared us when he was on it! Dad, Mom and Dakota had the downstairs bedroom & bathroom.
5: Christian & Dakota | Checking out the resort. Burning off some energy - while exploring. | Dakota waiting for the elevator. We used the elevator quite often since we were on the 4th floor and it was rather warm temperatures between 90- 95.

7: Selena, Christian and Dakota Enjoying some down time in front of the TV while appreciating the air conditioning. Getting ready to head back to the pool - for more fun in the sun.
8: This was an amazing journey of the underwater world of Hawaii's surf-ringed shores, from the complex Living Reef to the blue realm of the Open Ocean.
10: We saw marine life that is alive and from Hawaii.. There was corals., fish, plant-life and animals found in tropical oceans.. The care of these animals are priority as well as their native habitat. The animals are fed according to their needs.
11: The Maui Ocean Center Mission: Our mission is to foster understanding, wonder and respect for Hawaii's marine life.
12: 54 foot acrylic tunnel -that we walked through to see sharks, rays and hundreds of other fish. What a perfect ending to our visit. We really did "Discover an underwater paradise".

18: Dakota and Daddy taking a breather while most of us were shopping in the gift shop. They had a cold drink while relaxing in the shade with a nice breeze coming from the Marina.
22: Maui | A day at the beach - Kamaole Beach Park #3
30: Kamaole Beach Park #1 Everyone enjoying a day at the beach with boogy boarding, swimming in the ocean, playing in the sand and sun bathing. Roderick,Tj, Selena and Christian loved boogy boarding and being in the ocean.
43: Sugar Cane Train | Sonny, Lea, Kim, Selena, Roderick and Tj took the Sugar Cane Train out of Lahaina.
48: Lahaina: After the train ride we went to the Marina area for lunch and shopping. While we were waiting for a table to have lunch. The restaurant was outside along the marina.
49: We ate lunch at Aloha Mixed Plate. The restaurant was outside and along the marina. The food was good and we enjoyed the coolness fromthe marina and the fresh iced tea and mango lemonades.
50: Banyan Tree Park in Lahaina, Maui
51: The Indian Banyan Tree was planted in April 1873 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the Christian work done on Maui. When planted the tree was 8 ft. tall and now is over 70 ft. tall and covers most of the one acre park.
52: The Road To Hana: This is Maui's most popular visitor activity. This was quite the adventure and quite the drive. The drive is a beautiful scenic drive through the rainforest with spectacular views of waterfalls, freshwater pools, colorful exotic plants and flowers and endless tropical scenery. Along the drive we saw the Waikamoi Ridge Trail, Puahokamoa Falls, Kaumahina State Wayside Park, Keanae Arboretum, Pua'a Ka'a Wayside Park and Waianapanapa State Park. We stoppeed at stand to buy some banana bread, macadamia nut banana bread and banana butter - it was so yummy!

57: Except Christian and Dakota got carsick on the drive back.

61: Maui Golf & Sports Park Enjoying a round of miniature golf with everyone competing for the win. Selena and Larry took it serious and tried to mess one another up. Dakota did not want any help and he played all on his own. It was a pretty hot afternoon, but the park was a nice outing.
62: Christian wanted to do the Extreme Trampoline and had so much fun. He said it was great jumping so high up in the air. The park had a couple of waterfalls and some ponds with Koi fish in them.

67: Family Trip to Maui, Hawaii Sonny, Lea, Roderick, Tj, Larry, Kim, Selena, Christian and Dakota This was a great family trip with a perfect destination. There was time to sight see, play at the pool, have fun at the beach boogy boarding and playing in the sand, with sharing many meals together that included nice conversation, time for reconnecting with one another and getting to know each other better.
