FC: Hippocrates' Pursuit of Truth | Nick Drake
1: The Hippocratic Oath. This is taken by physicians for medical activities to be ethically and honestly practiced. This shows his pursuit of the truth as he shows ways of helping people that would positively assist them as it should do and put them in as little danger as people performing these activities can to get them better.
2: Hippocratic Theory Thought of by Hippocrates that diseases are caused naturally and not by superstition. His pursuit of truth is shown to tell what is happening health-wise and figure out how to heal people. Some issues may have been with the body or the state of health in which the patient was in.
3: Hippocrates pursuit of truth has held up such as the Hippocratic Oath which is taken by physicians today shows the truth in medicine helping people with different issues. His pursuit followed forward evolving to today with the technology to where it is more advanced and we know about diseases and other issues being natural
4: The negative side to his pursuit was that since medicine and treatments were developing more and more, different methods would need to be tested, which problems could emerge from. Especially if it is a new disease that has been found. They would have to know about it to do more to it.
5: Although there were the negatives, more understanding of the literal truth could be found. Such as finding symptoms of the diseases to get it treated quicker. Treatments could be found to help people more efficiently.
6: Hippocrates and his pursuit helped create a start for the evolving medicine tactics used in the future. Which allowed more people to build off of his work to advance it which helped for use in future times and times when the work was built upon.
7: Hippocrates helped medicine to become what it is today and allow it to become more in the future to help more people because of his pursuit of the truth. He spent his life studying medicine and pursuing his perception of the truth.
