3: Wolf Mutts | These mutts appear at the 74th Hunger Games to draw Peeta, Katniss, and Cato into a final fight. The mutts mimicked the deceased tributes mainly in fur and eye color. The collars match the tributes district number. Katniss also identifies Rue, Glimmer, Foxface, and Thresh as these creatures.

Katniss' pin gives Mockingjays an importance in the Hunger Games, also Rue's whistle is a Mockjay call used in the Hunger Games by Rue and Katniss to tell each other that they are okay.
