S: Justine Balster pre-K thru 8th grade

BC: Look out, Santa Su--the drama queen has arrived! Go--class of 2016! | Dream with everything you have.

FC: OMG!'s J.M.B. Laying the foundation to her future. Pre-K through 8th grade

1: ASTRONOMY: The study of celestial bodies. Justine Monique 10-21-1998 2.14 pounds 15 inches | In the beginning, a very tiny star was born.

2: GENEOLOGY: The newest sprouts on the family tree. Justine at age 2, Grandpa Don Balster, Mom & Dad at the twins' first Christmas, Grandma Lori Carr, Grandpa Don Applegate, and Nana Sue Applegate

3: 2001 was the beginning of the first decade of school. So many things to learn and to dream of becoming. School started at the age of 3, at Cloud Pre-School, in La Crescenta, CA. Justine always had a smile on her face.

4: Running | KINESIOLOGY: the study of perpetual human movement | Bowling | Walking | Swimming | Riding | Sliding | Aerobics | Climbing

5: ENCOURAGEMENT: Mom has always said I can be whatever I put my mind to.... Of course, that does not exclude her shameless exploitation of me.

6: MONOZYGOTIC TWINS: The splitting of one egg, creating identical twins. | ages 10 months to age 3

7: So similar, yet so different. They are the best of friends & the worst of enemies. | ages 4-13. At age 13, Justine was standing 5'6" & Carly, 5'10"

8: Recess & Halloween parades were always the best times at school. | Between the ages of 4 & 6, Justine went to 3 schools: Kinder was at Lincoln, 1st grade was at Plainview, & 2nd grade was at Allendale

10: @3rd & 4th grade: 2006-2008, ages 8-9 Justine attended Plainview Elem. in Tujunga | Joining the cheer team, for Plainview, was one of the after school activities the girls became involved with.

11: While Justine was finishing up the 4th grade school year, in Tujunga, she had already been introduced to music, at Plainview. | At the same time, she was being introduced to life in Simi Valley, as mom and soon-to-be step-dad, Tom, frequently hiked the Rocky Peak trails.

12: 2006-2007 Justine was 8 when Tom became her step-dad. He's been a huge influence in her life, and she has grown significantly with all the experiences and exposures she has been shown.

13: ETHICS & FAMILY VALUES: Justine has been a part of blended families for a long time. This existence has taught all of us temperance, respect, morals and appreciation for all. I believe we have all helped the girls to be well-rounded, respectable characters. | The Pierpoint family, Mom with Tom, and Justine with her dad.

14: There's no doubt about who Roxie loves, but Justine has a big heart to love Gracie and Brutus, as well.

15: Justine & "her favorite" love riding and joining the Heels & Wheels benefit rides. This all-female ride raises money for breast cancer--a particularly important benefit to our family. Maybe she will get her M class license down the road.

16: Music 101 & Drama & Theater: Justine has proven to be quite the talented violinist

17: and has ALWAYS been a drama queen. Look out Santa Su--she's planning on taking drama class.

18: Knolls Elementary School--grades 5-6 2008-2010 ages 9-11

19: Finishing up Junior High at Valley View Middle School 2010-2012 ages 11-13

20: Congratulations, Justine-- You did it! High School is the next step. Best wishes in all that you do. I'm confident you will succeed in all that you pursue. Never give up on the challenges you face, always do your best, and always have a "Plan B". Now--lets go party at the Greek!

22: Things to practice and live by: 1. Never stop believing in yourself and what you can accomplish. 2. Do more. Do better. Be better. 3. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. 4. Why does poor planning on your part, constitute an emergency on mine? 5. The greatest things in life are those hardest to attain. 6. Love and respect yourself above all others. 7. Don't put off for tomorrow what you can do today. 8. Carefully measure your words before you speak. You can't take back what has been said. 9. Always know I love you.
